Grill'd Balaclava

Food was great! But have to give it to the one guy, Orlando was the guy, his energy was absolutely incredible, he played jokes with us and made us laugh a bunch. Give this guy a raise

Delicious food & friendly service.

There was a young guy who seemed just started working at Grill'd. He maintained calm and offered friendly service even when a situation could be quite stressful (queue, dietary restriction, tech issue, etc.) Although he soon got pulled out of taking orders by another person who seemed like a manager, I wanna say well done & thank you.

P.s.
I ordered shared chips (potato, sweet potato, zucchini) Zucchini chips were way too salty.

Regularly visit Grill'd in Balaclava, food is great and service is even better. Even when busy, they manage to produce good quality food in a reasonable time frame.

Brilliant service all round and took the quick burger stop to a mood booster.

Also the Zucchini chips are heavenly, best chip variation since places started doing sweet potato fries.

Burger was just ok. The meat was not seasoned, and the mince they used was ground so large that the burger patty was falling apart in chunks.

They also gave us the wrong bun.

Difference between any Grill'd is the service and I have seen better. But the food was as good as it comes

This location used to be one of the best.

However, I recently had placed an order online which, in the order notes, remarked that we would like to dine in if possible, but that I was placing the order ahead of time since we would be in a time crunch to get to an appointment after dinner.

We arrived 15 minutes later than expected. When we sat down, the manager informed us that they had thrown away our order since we were late, and that we would have to wait for it to be remade. The manager blamed us for this, telling us that next time we need to arrive on time, and that it was our fault they threw away our order because we arrived late. The manager insisted that this was company policy and that the entire situation was our fault.

I have never heard of a restaurant having such a policy as this manager claimed, so I contacted Grill'd corporate about it. As I suspected, this is not a real policy. This means that we were simply lied to, which is incredibly insulting, unprofessional, and unethical.

Have requested for Grill'd corporate to take action to ensure other customers do not receive this kind of treatment.

I ordered a classic burger and chips. It was 7 pm on a Thursday. The house wasn't even one-third full and it took them 50 minutes to get me my food. I asked nicely for tissues and the guy behind the kitchen counter yelled at me. Legit yelled at me. I retrieved the tissues myself.
When the burger arrived it was the driest burger I have ever eaten. I'm from the middles east, I've seen sand juicer than this burger. I also seen better-run burger places in war zones. Overall horrible experience.

Burgers were average. We ordered special "Barbie pack" with the pink bun and mayo.but they said there's no pink buns left. No refund for that, just said they will give us a normal bun. The place smells and tables and seats were dirty. No toilet paper. The whole place needs a good clean.

My food was delivered cold more then an hour late, I used to work at grilld Hampton and the quality at balaclava was terrible compared to Hampton. The burger was soggy and mush the chips Barley filled and the bites didn’t even have bbq sauce in them. Really disappointed usually love grilld but balaclava is not the place to go.

This place is perfect except for their filthy toilet. Unfortunately this seems to be a pattern at Grill’d.

Couldn’t place an order without filling in all my personal details don’t know why you have to have my email and phone number to cook a burger and $34 for a burger chips and drink think I’ll go to the pub instead for that price,

I was so pleased with my experience at this grill’d store. The food was delicious and I was beyond impressed with the incredible customer service I received while dining in. Christian in particular was incredible! He was ridiculously kind and attentive, I was honestly blown away by his customer service skills. After this experience, I will definitely be coming back to this grilld store.

Literally the best service from Ryan and the food was delicious, would recommend to everyone especially to see the amazing person working there, made my day, so nice, happy and helpful.

A BOLT NUT IN MY BURGER!
On 3 of November I bought a burger through uber eat from grill'd balaclava, as I very often do.
This time, while I was eating I felt an acute pain and a strange metal taste in my mouth, with a big surprise I found a big bolt nut which broke one of my molars in pieces and chip another tooth.
I immediately called the branch and reported the accident and I have been asked to visit the shop asap.
Once there, with my mouth still bleeding the branch manager kept my burger and the bolt nut and got me in touch with grill'd management.
In the last 4 weeks I have been asked to be patient and assured that grill'd would have taken care of my medical expenses. Now after almost a month and an "investigation " grill'd refuses to pay my dental expenses (already pay almost 1000$, and many more to come) because a bolt nut shouldn't be found in a burger (really? Who would have thought?) and they can't explain how a nut bolt ended up in my burger.

Be careful when you order from grill'd, you'll never know what you could find inside your bun.

You know its a chain burger store, and you don't expect much usually from chain stores, but the staff are friendly and attentive and very professional, really really good staff

Am I cheap expecting more food for $14.50? It was delicious, but not worth the money. So many better places on Carlisle Street to eat to get value for money.

Horrid store.gave me food poisoning.would never recommend going here when there are several other Grill'd restaurants in the surrounding areas that are hands down better.previous management seemed almost abusive to staff, but that has seemingly changed at least.would've given 0 stars or a negative star rating if I could

Closed? Only opens at 4pm. Till 9pm? Don't bother guys. Waste of your investment. There's plenty of places to eat in Balaclava including burgers if you have a half hearted approach to opening and running a business.
Hope Grill'd HQ know about the lost business.

Went to Grill Balaclava Tuesday night and have the best customer service from the manager, his name is Daniel if I’m not wrong.
He was very attention to help us to pick our burgers. Food was delicious and great vibe; would recommend 100%!
