A handyman came out to quote me on attaching a bathroom cabinet to a wall. I had the cabinet assembled, and even purchased the masonry screws. He said he'd email me through a quote. Took 4 days for it to come through. Quoted $250. For something unlikely to take more than 20-30 minutes. Absurd.

I highly recommend using Grey Army. Tony is very Professional and friendly, works quickly and nothing is ever a worry for him. He always has a smile on his face.

Called to get a quote for cladding installation. Man arrived time, then he told me I just need to paint my broken and cracked cladding to the rear of my house. He measured up the job, emailed him what I wanted, he said two weeks to do the quote. 10 months later no quote. Followed up with an email to him. No reply. Would not use this company.

Terrible unprofessional service! When rang to complain to head office about the gardener was told not their problem any more.

I am writing this review and I hope the owner of this company read it the workers of this company are not reliable I give you 2 stars respecting to the electrtion Roy he was the only reliable worker I called the fence man he told me that he will do the job after a few months then the plastrer was telling me he will give me a quote after one month the worst of all was lately when I called for my gutters then you guys send me this man his name was zack he came to have a lookand never called me back to give me a quote I can't understand if he couldn't do the job he was suppose to tell me not making me wait acting like a child. I just give you one advice just hire more reliable trades.

Great experience with Grey Army painters Adam and Sam for my interior repaint job.

The site visit for the quote was organised quickly by admin-guru Alia, who also deftly organised dates, job req's, and responded to Q's immediately via SMS.

Painters Adam & Sam were exceptional:
- prepped all areas more thoroughly than I've had before
- ensured protection of all existing flooring/furnishings
- respectful, professional
- pride in work & attn to detail+
- cleaned up well after completing the job
- showed up punctualy 5 days running - even when their van's transmission unexpectedly decided to call it quits half way through the job

Would definitely recommend.

Took ages to complete the job, he sent brothers, cousins, I saw the main painter painting once. Didn't use drop sheets. Never knew when or if someone would turn up. Terrible job

Had an older fella named "Jim" quote me $60 an hour for two hours work in ballarat replacing floor moulding, expensive but reasonable. The quote for b-type mdf moulding was $65 dollars per 2.2m it's $7 via bunnings. Told him I'll find somebody else, he's a scammer watch out.

Otto was a lovely friendly chap who did some great work fixing up our pool fencing. Fair prices, did all the work in a day and a half (would have been 1 day but it was hammering down with rain). Highly recommend!

Grey Army Victoria - Mornington Peninsula. Absolutely was a customer. Terrible experience as a female. Reported the issues and was told Grey Army was a ‘phone referral service’ and there was no recourse for extensively damaged flooring & an uncomfortable experience. Know what recourse you have for work issues prior to starting any job.

Over the weekend Dean installed a new fence for us and we are so pleased. We had a difficult neighbour but Dean was diplomatic, respectful and kept everything calm and thankfully the job went without a hitch. Cannot recommend him more highly.

Lady who picked up the phone was extremely unhelpful, and rude. When I asked for the phone number - she told me I can find it myself or that I should already have it. Why will I ring and request it if I had it. I will ensure to not have my clients go your way or any family members.

Contacted them for a quote, he came out and measured after two weeks, then I never heard back, it’s been Over a month.

I posted my job requirement then Shaun contacted me the next day. We discussed the details then I received an emailed quote. He arrived on time and completed the job in 2 days over the weekend.
I would highly recommend Shaun to everyone. A professional Painter in every respect - Courteous, friendly and respectful, very well organised. 110% happy with the painting that Shaun completed:)

Despite emailing 2 requests (over 12 months) from the website, providing details of the work involved and patiently waiting for a response - nothing! I would never recommend this organisation to anyone because despite saying that 'someone would get back to you within 24 hours'. Still waiting.

Disgracefull.

After three requests to our Grey Army gardener in writing two have been ignored after three months, one I and another resident carried out ourselves as we were sick of waiting, and the third still has not been addressed. HOWEVER the other which was a request to replace two dead shrubs was done in a shoddy manner after three months to the day. Each shrub took about a minute with no watering in or mulch surround. I
initially recommended this man to our management I am sorry to say. He is rude, arrogant when speaking one on one and supposedly is horticulture trained. He comes each week for three hours to our over 55 Retirement Village and should be supervised more thoroughly from week to week. We residents just pay his wages and have no say other than seeing this dismal performance unfold.
