Greenstone Vineyards

Found this place as we are driving in the area and booked for wine and cheese pairing, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Freshly out of lockdown, there were no other customers, just us, and we were offered with some special drink and cheese to try on. I'm sure the place will have good vibe once it's fully operational.and will definitely visit again.

We had a great experience visiting Greenstone for the first time today. We came in late in the afternoon but had such a wonderful wine tasting experience and snacks. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly and we would certainly visit again and recommend.

Lovely afternoon, beautiful setting and views, excellent service. A very relaxing, welcoming experience which was just what we needed. The wine was fantastic!

A great afternoon. The young man made it a lovely informative experience with there wines.and also lovely cheese platter. Would definitely recommend and I know we will definitely be going again in the near future.

Five of us came to Greenstone Vineyards on a Monday afternoon for wine tasting. Despite arriving just half an hour before closing, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful Lyn, who provided us with an engaging wine tasting session. She provided us with excellent local knowledge and a good laugh. We are looking forward to coming back on a Sunday to enjoy some live music!

Went here as part of a small group and was a little dissapointed, the general etiquette of wineries is that they usually waive the tasting fee if you buy a bottle (I say usually, in my experience the tasting fee has always been waived when I buy, which I usually do). Apparently here they don't waive it if you are part of a group. I thought that was a bit cheeky and a bit of a snub to be charged the fee after giving them my business and purchasing 3 bottles.
As for the wines themselves, they did great cleanskin sparkling and reds but didn't rate the whites as well. Nice deck and views.

This winery would be great to sit back on the deck and enjoy some food and wine whilst overlooking the vines. It does get a lot of groups going through so you might need to pick your times to dodge the groups.

A lovely winery with delicious wine and kind service. The view and atmosphere was absolutely lovely! The winery staff also went out of there way to get my drivers license back to me when I accidentally dropped it through the deck floor which I am so grateful for! Highly recommend

We love greenstone vineyards as the vibe is always awesome and we can bring our fur babies! Very chilled and the wines are fabulous! I highly recommend this place!

Have been a regular for many years. The best views in the valley by far. The staff are amazing but under the pump so maybe need some extra assistance in the busy times.

We love this vineyard. Our second visit and we will be back! We enjoyed the wine but stand out is the great service and laid back local-type vibe. We were made to feel so welcome by the great lady who hosted us. Such a special place.

Nice spot for wine testing in the Yarra Valley. The wines are good, it is the first time ever we bought at least one bottle of each wine they have.

Lyn did a great job serving us and inspiring us with her passion for the wines and the area.

This is a great spot for a picnic and they even have live music sometimes in the summer. They sell a cheese platter and grab a bottle and enjoy the lovey setting to soak in the Yarra Valey.

A must do visit to this vineyard, fabulous location, stunning views, fab place, great wines, with friendly and welcoming staff

Established in 1983 Greenstone winery is a small but cozy little cellar door. With a broad collection of wines ranging from sparklings, whites, reds and sweet late harvest you should definitely find a bottle you will enjoy.

Under new management, the cellar door feels refreshed from before. Live music on Sunday's, brilliant outdoor space and a good collection of wines and cheeses means you can relax out on the deck and slow things down.

The winery is away off the main trails so you can usually get away from the crowded larger cellars.

Terrible service. Made to feel extremely unwelcome when arriving later in the day.
Far better service in local alternatives.

Great winery very close to Yarra Glen, very helpful and informative lady who gave us our tasting, great views from balcony as well

Having purchased & enjoyed greenstone wine before, I thought we’d take some friends to the cellar door. We walked in at 4.45pm, 15 minutes prior to closing time hoping to taste a couple of wines. Rather than asking whether we’d like to taste a few wines quickly, we were made to feel very unwelcome. The staff clearly were not interested in serving us and appeared quite rude. Really disappointing given the service I’ve received previously & they clearly don’t deserve the business.

View's nice! However, disappointing - service very average. Better options in the area to take advantage of for good wine, food options and atmosphere.
