Green Leaves Early Learning Knox

Had to remove my 12 month old child from this facility due to dangerous and potentially deadly sleep practices. Removed from centre permanently in October 2022 after blankets placed on my babies face while he slept (parent found him that way) laying in a pool of sweat. Natalie G (operations support manager) is nasty and smug. Advised that she sends her own child to the centre and wouldn’t so if she thought it was unsafe, furthermore it took weeks to conduct the internal interview processes with staff and when I advised that I couldn’t in good faith send my child under the investigation was complete and asked to not be charged for these days, Natalie behaved as though she was doing me an enormous favour for waiving the fees. The matter was justifiably then taken further due to Natalie’s utter incompetence to the National Operations Manager who was in touch to discuss the matter in depth and the measures they are taking to address and prevent this from occurring in the future. By this stage, the damage had been done, Natalie G has a lot to answer for and is destroying this business. Cindy and Pooja at the centre were amazing carers and it was devastating leaving them.

Just went for a tour – wow, it looks awesome! Welcoming and friendly staff. Can't wait for my daughter to start.

The few things I love about this Kinda is it has plenty of space, the chef makes the best food and even supply’s a coffee after drop of. It also has its own stadium for the children to play and my son loves it, along with his teachers, But not just that, the stuff are fantastic and have gone above and beyond for me. I very highly recommend this amazing Kinder.

My child has been at Green Leaves Knox for nearly 2 years now, I am also a team member there. I can't thank the educators that care for her enough.
She is always happy and content while at the centre and is always learning new and exciting things.

This is one of the best Child Care I've seen. The entire team is amazing - they all are approachable and always have smile on their face:)

Infrastructure is massive - be it a hottest day or a coldest day - you don't need to worry about your child, they have it all. Lot's of play options, my daughter loved it and we loved it.

In my opinion - the smile on your team's face and the MPA is your greatest asset - please keep them maintained.:)

I was actually against our children going into formal education so early, but I was sold the minute I met the staff and saw the facilities at Greenleaves, especially the big backyard. My 2 children absolutely love being there and I can relax knowing they are learning and having fun. Not sure how the staff do it, but they actually enjoy eating the veggies and fruits at the centre, I can’t get them to go near them at home!

My son attends this absolutely outstanding Centre.
We toured following lockdown and it was a positive experience all round.
All staff smiled and the kids were so calm (which is not what we'd experienced touring other centres)
The centre itself was AMAZING.
The sport stadium, wow. Nowhere else has this!
The chef greeted us and made us a coffee following the tour and the manager, Ash, asked us how the tour was and asked our son what he liked most - I like that personal touch and that she asked my son - speaks volumes of a company's employees.
Such a warm vibe with staff and kids that look happy to be there.
The enrolment process was good, Sarah and Kristen helped us through it all.
Our son loves coming. So glad we found this place.

I have been recommended by my friend about greenleaves knox. I visited one of the educators in my area and I was quite impressed by her communication and venue. After joining the service I could feel I am not working with an educator I am working with a team of highly educated professionals which is visible from the newsletter I receive, led by its nominated supervisor Ashley (Ash). I am comfortable in approaching the service whenever it's needed and I see the service continuous communication and collaboration on any events or concerns, especially during the COVID, I was comfortable sending my child throughout the pandemic with the security of my child is in the secure hands. I wish Green Leaves all the best for its goals and giving this industry well-trained staff to help the families. Thanks

My Grandson attends this wonderful service, there new Director is absolutely
divine, no problems, only solutions seem to be her mantra, I would highly recommend this Centre to any parent trying to choose the best place to leave the ones they hold close to there heart. Keep up the Great Work

Out of all the early learning centres my 4 children attended over a 10 year period, green leaves knox has the best facilities by far. The stadium is a stroke of genius and my son loves it. The educators are so welcoming. From when my son was first enrolled, Nicole the Admin (and customer service rep from knox) was with us every step of the way. I was concerned about my son settling, but Jess, the Junior Kinder Teacher followed his cues and responded with care and compassion - which is hard to come by these days. I can confidently recommend family to enrol their child at this Centre. You won't be disappointed. Well done to all at Green Leaves Knox.

I’ve just gone back to work and putting my 4 month old into care was scary enough but the new director and the educators made it easy for me. They have a lot of experience and knowledge and I didn’t feel so afraid, even though I call 100 times a day. My baby is happy and safe and I get updates all the time. Thanks guys

I have been the Assistant Director at this service since February of this year and have enjoyed every minute I have been here.
The team are dedicated and passionate about early education and enter the service each day with a smile.
Our sports area is amazing and I love seeing the children enjoy the space to learn various sports and activities. It is especially helpful to support physical movement through a rainy day.
Our centre support team are absolutely fantastic and no request is too difficult or too much. It is great knowing that they are just a phone call or email away.

The new Management at Green Leaves Early Learning Knox has made a positive impact to the centre. Ensuring your children are being attentive to their development, interest and abilities. I highly recommend Green Leaves Early Learning for your child/ren. Great work all.

Whilst the centre has always had excellent facilities the centre definitely feels much more welcoming since Trina the new Director took over. Staff turnover appears to be down which has allowed my daughter to develop good ongoing relationships with the educators. Communication with parents has also improved. They offer a range of activities to ensure the kids are engaged including Mandarin classes, food education, music, yoga. It is definitely an engaging learning environment. My daughter definitely loves her day care days!

Never recommend this center! My son was found outside the center about 5 weeks ago, Because on the busy pick up time and the educator thought one of the parent was me so just sent him out! And my son was found by an unknown parent on the car park! How ridiculous and how seriously this was happened in a Childcare! Consider before you put your kid into this center! And after nearly 5weeks they just finished the investigation! Never never recommend this center!

My Godson attends this centre and he loves to tell me all about his days including the educators and other children and what he has done and learnt. Management and staff are friendly and always helpful and the facilities at the centre are beyond engaging. Keep up the excellent work Green Leaves Early Learning Knox.

I thought I shouldn't waste my time for giving feedback but after learning about a child was outside of the Center without a family, I should say something to warn other parents. I found this center one of the worst 1. My child attended for a short period of time cause of the educators are not consistent in the room & for this my child didn't settle down. There are huge difference between the food chart they post & the food they present. Regarding the center manager, there is no consistency at all. My previous conversation happened with Nicole whom I found professional, Good communicator, understanding. The current center manager Ashly & assistant center manager Rebecca doesn't know how to communicate at all. Never found them in 1 call. I advice to all parents- don't be fool with the decoration & set up if they don't know how to interact with parents.

During this difficult time, I can see that those staff are very responsible and can feel that my son loves to go to the childcare now (He is having 5 days now and he loves to go there everyday).
The previous turnover rate seems sorted. Only issue is that it's hard to discuss more with the educator now and see how my kids going everyday as there are lots of parents waiting for their kids outside, thankfully the daily update come back and I can see my smiley kid face there.

Why would a centre with confirmed anaphylactic children to nuts, provide gifts of chocolates which contain nuts. These chocolates contain hazelnuts and almonds. (these pictures are on the Knox facebook page), and taken into a room with children there. Yet you claim you are a nut free centre.

What an absolute mess this centre is, a new director who lasted 3 months. Horrendous accidents constantly and turnover of staff. So much for a great new management team, clearly all front and absolutely no direction, just in damage mode at all times.
