Green Field Restaurant reviews
43The pho was very tasty with all the deliciousness you expect. Service was efficient and the place while not 5 star is functional. There could have been more broth overall but the meat and noodles were plentiful and well cooked.
Pretty good food, service is a bit of a challenge. A good cheap relatively quick meal option in Sydney road.
Great value for money! The food is simple, uncomplicated. Yes the service is slow but the place is unpretentious and comfortable. Take your BYO wine or beer and enjoy a good meal. We go there regularly for a quick cheap eat out
Service was great! But food was terrible. Vegetable mushroom Soup taste terrible, tofu and baby corn was sour like acid. Nothing was fresh. Calamari salad was yuk. Calamari was not fresh at all. Stir fried duck, duck (deep fried), too dry use it as stir fried. No I will never go again.
Good joint, vermicelli noodle salad is unreal. Hidden gem. Wish they were open every day of the week
Vietnamese food used to be accessible & a great way to eat if you didn’t want to cook. Flavoursome food bursting with taste. Green Field hits the mark, unpretentious, honest, delicious. Recommend
One of my fave places on Lygon! BYO, Menu is incredible, I highly recommend the sweet and sour tofu. There can sometimes be a little wait when dining in, but it’s absolutely worth it for the food quality and amazing price.
The large special fried rice is actually very good and cheap as. Staff is very lovely and I really need to go and try more of their menu sometime soon.
Got food poisoning from this restaurant for 5 days with there beef rice noodle soup and prawn spring rolls. The spring rolls were not fresh and my soup was cold and disgusting. I do not recommend this restaurant at all as they are extremely un hygienic.
Looks like a pretty standard, if not a little sparse interior restaurant. But the food is outstanding! Had the salt and pepper squid + chicken/prawn spring roles. The best! Highly recommend. Great value.
First of all, they’re understaffed. Because of this, the operation was really slow and we have to wait almost an hour for our order. No one attending new customer as they were too busy handling other job. It’s understandable that Saturday night were usually busier. Maybe add extra helper for smoother operation.
Cheap and cheerful, although the last time we were there it took an extremely long time for our food. In their defence, they did remove a couple of soups from the bill. I guess it was on purpose?
Though it looks like a typical Vietnamese shop, it's impressive dishes and impeccably polite staff make it a must-have staple viet takeaway or dine-in kitchen. And, if you're like me and like to have the drink takeaway too, they do cans
One of my favourite takeaway joints. Such good value for money. Salt and pepper tofu or eggplant is phenomenal.
Great food at a good price recommend giving them a go. Calamari with special fried rice is always a good choice.
Love this place. Great food either for take away or better yet, dining in. Pricing is good too abs service meets the need. A great Brunswick establishment.
Food is hella cheap, but alot of the time can be pretty underwhelming. The only sure thing is the pho, which is delish.
The food was excellent. Lots of fresh ingredients and really nicely spiced. Will be back for sure, and would highly recommend for both eating in it take away. Staff friendly and happy.
Been ordering take out from here often during iso. Their beef pho and hot and sour soup is delicious and at a great price
