Greek’n Out reviews
20Really wanted to love this place but unfortunately the Frappe was so weak there was no coffee flavour at all and the honey and walnut loukamades were bland and disappointing. I’m not sure if we got a bad day but there were plenty of staff pushing us to order quickly so they weren’t short staffed.
Worst service ever.
First time we popped in.
We were the only customers seated in the restaurant. Eventually asked for take away.
Food average
Not a good first experience.
We were on the hunt for amazing greek food in South Melbourne and we finally found it, this place ticked all the boxes. Food was tasty, fresh and the service was fantastic. The saganaki and souvlakis (artemis and greek style) were delicious, highly recommend!
Got there just before closing and I had the most delicious Greek salad with chicken and a pita bread. Honestly very grateful for their exceptional service too.
We ordered a trio of dips and souvlakis. When the dips arrived I asked my husband why is the pink dip thick and he noticed small pita pieces mixed within it. I think they reuse left over dips. We handed it back to the waitress and she apologised. Won’t be returning back! The staff are nice but the unfortunately the food isn’t reflective.
I classify myself as an unofficial Greek food expert and this place is exceptional. Super clean, super professional and you can tell it has a hands on owner and some of the best Greek food I’ve ever eaten

Nice place, Friendly staff, but $18 is super expensive for something smaller than a fish 'n' chip shop style souvlaki. Meat isn't cooked over coals either so prob not going to establish themselves as a hotspot (like skewer'd, one of their local competitors) anytime soon.
In regard to the owners petty response, consumers decide quality, not you. If only the same passion went into producing something that reflects the pricing.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Staff owners and food all 10/10. The most authentic greek food i’ve had in a while. Will definitely be making this place a regular!
Ordered a small meat tray which should take 5 mins. After 30 mins waiting and no food I walked out. Customer lost.
The decoration of the restaurant is nice. The food just average, not bad, not good. The worst thing is that we literally saw how a waiter picked up a bunch of toothpicks that had fallen on the terrace floor and after meticulously picking them up, he put them back at the public's disposal. When we reproached him for that, he said that he had cleaned them. Incredible.
Lamb souvlaki was very average!
Very bland, and had to be most expensive one lv brought.
Meat must be expensive!
There was very little of it!
Over $60 for
2 Souvlaki’s
2 tiny chips
Coke and water
Seriously!
No wonder we were the only 2 patrons.
They need to lift their game to survive at those prices.
I had a disappointing experience here. The meat plate was overcooked, and I found it quite pricey, especially considering the portion size. The $15 fried cheese seemed very small. I would not recommend stopping here based on my experience. There are so many place to eat in south melb market. Skip this one.
Fanbloodytastic
Not too sweet
Not too salty
Everything fresh and just right
Was looking forward to trying the new addition to Sth Melbourne Market.
We shared the open plate.
Enjoyable, but lacked depth of flavour that you expect from Greek food.
I think their prices are a bit high for a market street food experience.
Would try again to see is its just start- up hiccups.
Mythos one. No Greek restaurant around here!
REALITY: heaps of seating, beer, cocktail bar coming soon INSIDE ladies.
Awesome food, really like it. The "Artemis" is very tasty and delicious. Love it, like it.
Great Food, staff were friendly and accomadating. The lamb gyros was to die for amd the saganaki was cooked tonperfection. We will definitely be returning. Kudos To the team!
The food is some of the best Greek food I have been able to find in Melbourne and the customer service is amazing.
I'm not a fan of how busy the market gets so it was refreshing being able to sit and relax with a great meal.
Had the haloumi bowl. At $13 it was a fantastic filling and healthy lunch. The beetroot dip on top was perfection. Staff were lovely too.
The cake is soft, chewy and very delicious
Very good service staff
Everything is beautiful
