8AVOID THIS BANK No good for savings. CX is so woefully frustrating that GSB makes every other bank seem superb! Save yourself the anguish, go elsewhere with your savings. UPDATE: Decided to close my account and that has been another saga because my balance is to high, wasted hours on the phone, still not closed SERIOUSLY THE WORST OF THE WORST BANKS they deserve a negative amount of stars
Great service. We had wanted to create bank accounts for our two kids. Couldn't make the original apt. Theresa kindly helped to accommodate for us and rescheduled us, and guided us through the whole identification and registration process. Thank you Theresa. Highly recommended!
I must recommend Jodie Mathieson who did a great job refinancing me away from the CW bank. She is a dedicated home and investment loan specialist with over 20 years experience. I have had many dealings with lenders and Jodie is one of the best. Highly recommended
Unacceptable response times and customer service. Between accounts not opening due to their 'system error', bonuses not being provided due to employee's "misinformation", non-response to online messaging portal, waiting 8 days for response to query and speaking to five different people, I still have no response, no resolution, no access to one account, and no bonus as promised. Refused to put me through to supervisor and offered only a call back within two business days. This will equate to a two week response time to my initial, very basic query and request for bank's own problem to be resolved.
Phung - Apparently "misinformed"
Indian lady - difficult to understand and little knowledge
Alex - great guy but unable to help me since he's in health insurance and Indian lady transferred me to wrong department
Peter - professional, competent but suggested I wait for the online team to resolve the problem
Joseph - no customer service. Rude. Entirely company and process driven. Blamed colleague for providing "misinformation", blamed customer for directing email to "incorrect dropdown box", and when unable to provide GSB terms and conditions on company website, directed me to search for them on Google.
Online team - still no response
Very poor service.
Female staff member is either completely incompetent or is completely oblivious as to what customer service is.
Older male staff member is rude to the point of being obnoxious.
Indian male staff member tries to be helpful but is very slow and asks you to return to get tasks completed instead of completing them on the spot.
Damien is helpful and very competent and is wasted in this environment.

Avoid this finance institution like a plague! Check product review before you try to have business with them and you’ll know why, worst bank I have ever dealt with.
Grateful to finally have a branch available at Westfield Southland which makes withdraws available without any fee (it's 2$ a pop at ATMs!) BUT the fact that they try so hard to push you to buy any possible insurance makes you lose a lot of your time when just want to simply get some cash out. I know the employees are told to do so but it's utterly annoying. I'm avoiding to go to the branch as much as I possibly can because of it. This behaviour is counterproductive if they want to keep in business imo.
