Great Earth Health Shop Tunstall Square

I am not sure how an intolerance/sensitivity/allergy to a product can be an emotional reaction. A staff from this shop had elaborated extensively on MY response to one of their supplements, which she did not even witness.
I had only asked a question whether a product can be returned.
That was not the only time i experienced rudeness from the staff at this shop.
Never back again since that day.
But reading through the reviews, i can only assume they have some kind of 'criteria' for their perfect customer.
Some people had a terrific experience, others were ignored and talked down.
That's not good enough for a customer oriented business, especially for a business in wellbeing.

I have to say I'm very disappointed with the service and lack of knowledge at this store. I've been a Doncaster resident for many years and can honestly tell you that Great Earth is not as good as it once was. Not only have I experienced staff ignorance but they seem to always be out of stock of products. Would not recommend Great Earth to friends and family.

I have been shopping at Great Earth Health Food shops for over 20 years. They are definitely the cheapest health food shops in Melbourne. I have never had a problem with anything I have bought from them. I think they must really check things out before they sell them, to make sure their customers will be happy with their purchase. I suppose after 40 years they know what they are doing.
They have a massive range, thousands of products with new things coming in all the time. Lots of vegan and gluten-free foods too.
The service is great, always very friendly and patient with me and all my questions, they order things in for me if they don't stock it, and there is a naturopath there to help too. I travel 20 minutes, but it’s always worth it, because of how much $ I save.
I can highly recommend them if you want the best products at the best prices, and great customer service.

This is my #1 health food store. They have great variety, great brands, fantastic prices and lovely staff. Always there with a smile, a wealth of knowledge and helpful tips, the staff are what keep me coming back most of all. 10/10. Thank you!

Every single time I've gone there I've not just been served with great friendliness, but also feeling enriched and educated with freely given information and knowledge. And the prices are great in comparison!

Nicest lady on duty behind the counter just after midday on Nov 4th '17. Super nice and helpful, and great positive attitude with the people in line before me too. Been coming here for years; good value health store.

The last I visited this store was about 3 years ago. I have to agree with other posters about the patronising, standoffish treatment both over the phone and in the store. Although, they do stock a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. Perhaps this is why the assistants think it's ok to project their anger onto customers when they' re having a bad day-which seemed to be often-hmmmm.

I need to go there again today for something, so I hope their service has improved.

I too find the customer service bad here very demeaning, they really talk down to me. I recently rang regarding one of their products Nui Guini Coconut Oil where the glass container shattered into a hole putting ground glass into the product. This to me is life threatening however Jacinta seemed to think that It was my responsibility to bring it in, when what I think if it were me I would go immediately and inspect this product and if there was ANY substance to what I was reporting take it off the shelves.

I do keep going back in spite of one particular staff member because the others are helpful and friendly and they do stock a wide variety of goods which sadly seem to keep rising in price

I can give this shop only one star. They have a wide range of products and the prices are reasonable.

What is appalling in this shop is the customer service! I used to be a regular visitor to this shop and the staff were friendly and courteous but lately the staff have changed and not for the better.

The last two occasions I have visited this store I have received the rudest customer service that I can ever remember receiving. If you want to be treated in an abrasive, aggressive manner then this is the store to visit.
