Gravity Demolition reviews
8Oversized trucks navigating narrow streets.no regard for surrounding residents. Steer clear of these cowboy operators!
These guys demolished my home in 2019. They got the job done quickly and very professionally. They were also kind and understanding with my elderly neighbours which is really important to me. Communication was not amazing but if I ever called or messaged about progress they would always quickly be in touch.
We used Gravity Demolition to clear our land in 2016 and they were very professional and did a great job. Can highly recommend.
Demolition was done very professionally and even our neighbours were looked after/kept informed. They were very flexible with us on a delayed start date. Would recommend these guys.
Worst customer service! Waited several weeks for a quote that they I told me would take a week. 3 follow up calls, only to be told they were not sure why it wasn't done and be promised it was coming.same line week after week. It never arrived. I shared this experience on my final follow up call and they didn't even seem interested - No apology and no custome care.
They did a great job in demolishing my property. Great communication before commencing the job, although there are room to improve their communication during the job. Will certainly recommend them.
The actual demolishing was very professional and well done. Unfortunately we will have additional costs as they damaged the concrete driveway and this is not covered by Gravity as the home owner must take out the council asset protection. This will add thousands to the cost. Secondly they took longer than the initial quote in starting and I had to chase to see about council approvals. This delay may cost us significantly in additional rent as well as our build now has a finish date in January 2019, as they hit the 1 month Xmas break at the end of 2018, because of the late start. Finally I made the mistake of questioning the timing to be rudely told I had no idea about demolition. I agree I don’t but I do know about customer service and even when customers are annoying you still need to be polite. I happened to have this conversation overheard by a complete stranger as I waited in line at the post office who was shocked at the level of aggression. So in conclusion you will have a professional demolition but be prepared for the possibility of significant additional costs and clarify timelines.
