Grantville Lodge reviews
12Beautiful location, nice set up my daughter went with her school stayed for 3 days she said the food was delicious, the activities were fun/exciting. My daughter lost her cannon digital camera whilst there, the staff & management were honest and contacted us when they found the camera. The owners were pleasant and accommodating in returning the camera to us quickly and conveniently.
The Camp is good for school students, it has 3 to 6 bunk beds in each room, good hall n dining room.
Pretty great place, went here for school camp. The activities were quite fun, and the three course dinners were quite appetising. The staff there were very friendly, nice and helpful. The cabins were kinda meh, there were a few that were really nice with mini living rooms and kitchenettes but 8 and 9 were kinda old and rusty. The bathrooms are also quite stenchy especially the main ones. Overall great experience, but some areas could do some work.
Loved coming here, in the school holidays, in the 80s, when it was called Shiloh Ranch. Sadly they don't seem to offer horse riding anymore. Probably due to insurance costs.
I went here on a school excursion
fun activities and nice cabins
the food was edible but it wasn’t that nice
overall pretty fun experience and I made some good memories from it too
good view of the beach too
I loved coming here with my school. I loved the flying fox and the low ropes! I was always full after the 3 course meals at the end of the day. If there was 10 stars i would put probably 9 stars. The bathsrooms were gross though!
A fantastic place for a group camp, lots of nature, activities and lovely staff. Absolutely recommend
My son went to the camp last week with his school he loved it great people friendly and very nice food he enjoyed it a lot. With so many activities to do
We've visited Grantville Lodge for our youth camps twice now and both times we've enjoyed our stay there. Cabins are well maintained and have ensuites. Lots of land to have adventures in and a big hall for activities when the weather outside is nasty. Would definitely recommend this site for groups going.
Gorgeous area, good food, lovely helpful people, nice cabins, beautiful grounds. Some farm animals to pat, good common areas, clean, a good pool which is child safe also. The bathrooms are a bit scary but not the worst.
It's a great place for families and groups. Great views and accommodation is top class. It's a bit on the expensive side.
This place is really good (for the price we paid). We booked the whole campsite for our church camp. We had 105 people there and I think it's about just the right size. Some rooms are better than the other but overall all the room are clean. The kitchen is small but not too small. The toilets near the main hall is a little run down but it's ok. There is a small pool as well.but may be too cold for winter.
The best part is the view especially during sunset!
