Grampians Wine Cellar

No doubt this is a great bar - if you're a local.

We went on the weekend and thought it was a function, the other people there said it wasn't and it's where the locals go.

We waited to be served, but the bar staff just ignored us and continued to have conversations with the locals.

It's fine if you only want to serve locals, but please mention that so we can enjoy the other venues.

Popped in for an after-hike local wines shopping. Received the best advice on the wineries & wines and left with a box-full of fantastic wines. We'll be back next time we're in town

We stumbled across this place as we wandered through on our way to camp, the guy who owns and runs this place is friendly, genuine and lovely dude. We went back two nights in a row for some delicious Riesling. Also this wine cellar has the most incredible view.

What an amazing little gem this cellar bar is! A fantastic wine selection. Simon the owner is a true wine expert giving everyone who comes in a unique wine experience surpassing all expectations. A true gentlemen in hospitality, obviously well experienced in product knowledge with local, interstate and international wines. This cellar is the viticultural pearl in the heart of the Grampians. Wines lovers and those just wanting a quick glass of vino…you need to stop in here.

An absolute gem! A perfectly situated (think afternoon sunshine filtered through gumtrees with the backdrop of beautiful rocky cliffs and peaks) simple, yet stylish, wine bar with really friendly, dedicated service and unique, delicious, local wines. Such a great little place for a wine and a drink and a chat after a day of exploring the beautiful Grampians.

Awesome experience. Simon is so knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate about the surrounding wine region (which I didn’t know much about prior to my visit!). A great gateway to the broader Grampians wine region. Thank you and I can’t wait to come back.

What a great little place this is, some amazing wines and the most lovely host. Simon is very knowledgeable not only on the wines but also give great tips on best places to visit in the Grampians. Spewing we couldn’t visit more Simon, but so enjoyed every glass and chat, thank you and looking forward to next time!

Such a great experience at this wine bar over the weekend for trip away. We stopped in for a quick drink of local wine before our dinner reservation. All the tables were full but the owner was more than Happy to accommodate and we stood up outside. The owner is so passionate, lovely and very knowledgeable when it comes to wine. Trusted his recommendations when it came to a glass of red & white and didn’t disappoint!

Everything I have to say has been said before. Simon is passionate about wine and in particular the quality wines beings produced in the region. He stocks the big names but more importantly the wines you can’t buy at a cellar door.

Good and friendly for all levels of wine lovers, from cheap and cheerful to wine snobs.
I had a sensational glass of lightly french oaked chardonnay and then a glass of a medium-full bodied local shiraz in dappled sunshine.
Bliss.
I bought two bottles and could have stayed all day.
Seriously, book your accommodation based on walking proximity to this place.

This place is awesome- great wine/beer selection. Beautiful location, knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere…couldn’t ask for more.

Found this hidden gem by accident, so nice to sit there with a glass of wine. Bottles are reasonable price to purchase. Must try the pizza place right next door.
