Very glad we did, in a 2 day turn around, Phillip prepared for us a 29 page summary document detailing all the risks and issues with the contract. He was very methodical, patient, and gave us the appropriate advice we needed to make the right decision with our build. Highly recommend.

We were referred to "Graham Legal", Solicitor in Essendon, by The Law Institute for a residential building construction contract review.
Phillip provided us with a prompt and thorough assessment of the contract which incorporated advice that was practical and of considerable value.
The report was detailed yet easy to understand thereby enabling us to follow up with our builder prior to signing the contract.
The staff at Graham Legal were a pleasure to talk to and Phillip presented a friendly and approachable demenour that immediately put us at ease.
We are both familiar with agreements; however, having a competent professional revise our contract proved worthwhile noting that Phillip demonstrated a thorough comprehension of the instrument and most importantly was able to progress through the critical issues in a direct and timely manner.
Our requirement was urgent in order to meet a pricing envelope. Graham Legal's staff, Jessica and Val, were quick to relay our requirements to Phillip whom was away at the time, and yet our contract was reviewed in less than three days. This allowed us to go over the report and ask further questions prior to the designated meeting with the builder.
The report we received was well written using plain language and crucially, identified the consequences of those clauses that deviated from the standard HIA instrument that otherwise appeared to us as relatively straight forward.
Phillip answered our questions over the phone, honouring the prescribed time allowed by the Law Institute's referral. In particular, he spoke authoritatively about clauses that had the capacity to disadvantage us in an adverse event during the build. We had underestimated the impact of such clauses.
Phillip's fees were most reasonable and we were well informed as to what to expect for our payment.
