Gowrie is an amazing centre, children could have more opportunities to engage with natural resources and outdoor activity. This center gives children more agency to play, explore and learn. The program for each group is amazing, and educators followed the program and Educational framework to set up open-ended activities. Every child can learn, practice, and gain differently.

Educators are so supportive and professional, especially Chiara, Saki, Lan, and Kai. They support children in a holistic way. That is a nice place to let children learn through play.

Gowrie's teachers are very attentive and professional, and provide many open-ended activities, which are also based on each child's interests and learning style. Similarly, different children have different gains. The activities are also set according to the Australian syllabus framework. The courses in each room are different and are set according to each child. Although it is in the city, children can also have many opportunities for outdoor activities. It is a very good learning center.

My son had a wonderful experience with Growrie @ The Harbour. Always happy and excited to go to his room. They have a very good program; always consulting and involving the parents with the planning; the educators/room leaders are very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, always open to communication and ensure to address if there's any issues or how to improve the service further. Oh, and their admin and management are very responsive too! Our family was very happy with this daycare, it was sad that we relocated and we have to move our son to another centre. Keep up to great work Gowrie! Thank you so much for the best care you have given to our beloved son.

Having lived across the ditch and being selective on where our kid goes, it was a challenge finding a good day care in hustle and bustle of Melbourne city. Signed our 4 year old up to Gowrie Victoria Harbor in February and lucky for us, two really exceptional managers Tracy and Kate joined the already amazing team soon after. Our experience with Tracy turned out to be exceptional. She has wealth of knowledge and experience and always puts parents and child’s long term benefits first, something really hard to find these days. She has spent a life time in development sector for children and after some discussion with her, we realized how professional, well-versed and deeply interested she is in our child’s future. I wish we dont have to move from the city and continue sending our current and any future children to same day care. Chiara, Saki, Lan, Kai and team at room Djirri Djirri are all exceptional people and really take keen interest in our child’s development and growth. Thank you Gowrie the Victoria Harbor!

Absolutely love Gowrie @ The Harbour. The staff are so attentive, caring and really focus on the individual child. Full of connection, community, and a really nurturing environment. Love the outdoor area, and the open door policy. My child has been supported to explore and build confidence in their skills. Hands down the best daycare Center… and I’ve toured a lot! We live in the inner west and travel into the city just for this place. Wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else.

Gowrie Docklands is an amazing organization. The nurturing environment has provided our child the tools necessary to thrive and flourish into a daring and curious firecracker. The open space of the outdoor area being the nucleus of the centre allows the children to explore and form friendships. We couldn’t be more happy with the carers who are engaging and caring. A purposeful environment to provide children with the opportunity to realize their potential.

It's rare to find an Early Learning service this beautiful, not only in the city, but inside a building. It's like a gorgeous, circular reserve filled with nature, open air playgrounds, wildlife, access to wonderful excursions and an amazing team of educators and teachers. Blessed

My daughter has been attending this service for the best part of a year, and loves it so much I enrolled my son to do his Kinder year here. The outdoor area is incredible! It has to be seen to be believed, considering there are gardens, rock pools, trees on Level 1 of a building!
My daughter was only 11 months when she started and has absolutely blossomed and thrived - and keeps everyone on their toes, I'm sure. My son started this year and it's like he's been there his whole life. I can see just by looking at my children that the Service is worth every cent.
The Educators genuinely 'know' who my children are, and their approach is so individualised. I love the child-led program, and more importantly - so do they. There isn't a high staff turnover either! The continuity of care is encouraging.
If you want a service that cherishes who your child is, gives you a second home and a beautiful community, this is the place.

Our experience has been wonderful. Our daughter is happy to go to daycare and see other children and staff. If we have ever had a problem, all we needed to do was to raise it and it was dealt with efficiently. Important considering our child is 'busy'. The outdoor areas are wonderful and provide opportunities for children to play, learn and discover. In addition to that, and perhaps most importantly Gowrie employees have actively encouraged our daughters independence and is/are instrumental in helping her 'early years' development. For our family, we feel a strong sense of connection to this service.

Not happy with Gowrie daycare as no proper equipment to play and the garden was not properly maintained and dusty water.

I am not sure what DY reviewer has against Gowrie but my children attended it and it’s an excellent childcare Centre. The waitlist is long but it’s well worth it. The educators are amazing. Case to the point: my son loved taking the broom from the room and sweep with it, and wipe stuff, so one of the educators made him his very own janitor kit with recycled materials.

Gowrie really cared about the children’s growth and development and make sure they learn not only about how to take care of themselves, but also others, the community and their environment. They encourage going on excursions all the time, no matter whether it’s formal ones where they go to the fire station or informal ones where they go to the park. Bringing 8 or more children to do that is no mean feat!

I love the mix age environment, where children from age 0-3 are in the same room. My kids got taken care of by older kids (so cute!) and when they are older, they in turn learn to take care of younger kids. And no, when I say take care it doesn’t mean the kids are forced into child labour and take care of younger ones, in fact, because the older kids are more settled into the room, the educators have more time (I feel) to take care of younger ones compared to say, a childcare Centre that has 12 screaming 4-6 months old in the same room (trust me, I have been there before and it’s not fun).

All in all, I love Gowrie and both kids had a very happy few years there.
