Gotcha Fresh Tea

I have been here for almost one year 2-3 times a week. The staff is always great and taste is good as well! I strongly recommended this shop for your bubble tea

The Thai milk tea is completely tasteless.i don't know what went wrong here.even when not drinking it with the paper straw from straight from the cup there's literally no flavour.maybe a tea without milk is a better choice at this place

Definitely a gotcha moment when I took the first sip of the classic Thai milk tea. It is not what a classic Thai milk tea would taste like and they also could not adjust the sweetness level as the staff informed us that it is made from powder. The sweetness is at 75% and the taste itself was off by a mile. If this is this brand’s rendition of Thai milk tea, it failed miserably and $7.6 is too overpriced for a cup of drink made from premix powder

Black sugar fresh milk is my go-to drink here. I always love it but sometimes when I request less pearls or less sugar, it's sometimes gets mixed up with another order. But most of the time it's consistent! My favourite bubble-tea shop.

The drinks are similar to any other Gotcha, but the difference with this store is the poor service. All staff look unhappy working here, they never ever take your order with a smile, and they're VERY tight with the loyalty card. Like how dare you want a stamp on your card? !
You can't get a free drink until you pay for a drink to stamp the 'free drink' circle.so it takes 11 drinks then to get a free one? !
Oh you are redeeming a free drink and you bought a drink in the same order? Nah you don't get a stamp for the drink you paid for!
They don't bother to take your name or even give you a number/receipt you're expected to just get your own when you notice its there.

I have noticed the drink quality has gone down over time, sometimes they're quite watery and don't taste nice. I do believe the Gotcha brand has better quality drinks than other brands, better tasting flavours, less artificial taste etc BUT you wouldn't believe it from this store. Too much variability in the way the drinks are made order to order, so I tend to avoid buying from here now even though they have a captive market being the sole provider of bubble teas at brickworks.

Be careful going off the pictures or the banners, you may assume something comes with toppings/pearls BUT it may no longer come with them. So always clarify before paying what you actually get included in your drink.

EDIT: Just took off a star because today's order failed to include my paid for jelly topping. Again, they didn't give a receipt to check.

We popped in about an hour ago and there was a customer before us. My sister and I were next and a lady came at the back of us and asked if we were waiting and we said yes. She said ok. The lady in front of us finished and we came in. The boy at the counter immediately said to the lady at the back of us sorry she was here first. The lady then spoke for us saying no these girls were here before me. So he then served us. My sister said her order but he just looked at us blank. My sister had to repeat the order a few times before he responded. She even said the size she wanted several times but it seemed like he could not hear. He even pointed at the one empty cup you had for reference for sizes and so my sister pointed at it. If he is hard of hearing then it's understandable but it was bizarre. Then the lady behind us went to order and he said to her, sorry about that before while in earshot of us. Please speak to your staff about customer service. We work in the industry so please be kind to people and be aware of your surroundings before assuming someone cut in the line. We didnt say anything there because there was a little boy eagerly waiting for his drink who didnt deserve to witness us telling your employee off.
The girl behind the counter making the drinks did a wonderful job so please let her know. Drinks didnt take long to make and my sister enjoyed her drink which is why I gave 2 stars instead of zero.

This place is inside the Burwood Brickwords Shopping Centre. I ordered the Lyra Lychee (Cow Milk), Black Sugar Matcha (Vegan), and Black Sugar Soy Milk (Vegan), all 3 tasted really nice. I didn't specify the sweetness level and it was not very sweet which I liked. Very refreshing on a warm day! Nice customer service and very vibrant colours for this store. We sat inside the store, if I had a complaint, the tall chairs need to be cleaned as people have clearly spilled many drinks on it over time. They do have a small bench seat which we sat on. Customer service was very friendly, I would definitely come back here again! Although I personally would ask for less 'bubble balls' in my next drink. We got the large which was around $8-9 however their menu is on their website including prices.

The honeydew milk tea with jelly was alright. Bit sweet. Alright, but had better bubble teas elsewhere. Perhaps because I normally buy other flavours.

Overall, this is one of my top places. The boba tastes fresh and is always chewy and soft, this store has great and fast service, they have kind staff and has met my expectations, although it can be slightly slow at certain points, I’d say it’s worth the wait!

Extremely poor service, had to wait around for someone to serve us. When someone finally served us he barely said two words, before I even finished my order he already held out his hand for money.
Not to mention none of them wore their masks properly, it was all around their chin, while talking and preparing drinks.
Then when our order was ready he just put it on the bench and said nothing. I had to ask if it was mine and he just nodded without looking.
Very rude service, would not recommend coming here and would never come back.
Upsetting your customers will not bring business in.

I can understand it is during lock down. But you guys really need to improve service to attract coming back customers. For me, such a disappointed experience.

I came to here couple times and each time the staff here spoke in a verily low voice. I’m not sure if this is their special staff training or what. After they typed what I want, they just stare at me and waiting for me to tell them how to pay it. Always waiting them to finish something else and then grab my drinks to me, also without saying anything. Wish there are more different options in Brick shopping center.

Cute interior to drink tea- good selection of teas- good waiting times- high reccomend charred bamboo tea- a bit sugary though but i mean what can u expect

Ask for no ice but it was with ice. Bring back the drink, they just open the seal, spoon out ice. Golden pearl is terrible, don't order it.

Disappointing service at this place. An order of two teas should not take 20 minutes. But it did. The trouble when ordering is there is no warning of the wait to come. Uber order after Uber order will gazump the poor punter that happens to order at the counter. There should be a warning up front about wait times. Not good enough.

Not much of the service or greeting, tea quality sometimes good, most times not (black pearl quite offen under cook, still feel solid inside or leftover from yesterday)

Asked for no sugar and no sugar syrup. She said minimum is 75% sugar and that is from the strawberries. What does she add? Strawberry syrup.

Great bubble tea chain famous for their fresh pearls. Drinks are always good, but I found they were a bit inconsistent compared to city store. Cute sitting area inside to drink your tea. Durian flavour was very milky, light on flavouring.

Gotcha is one of my favourite bubble tea chains and this one is great! Staff are lovely and I’m a bit addicted to their black sugar cappuccino - so good.

Terrible.
I like gotch more than other bubble tea shop.
But here taste is worst in comparison with other brach.
I oredered lyche greentea.there was no lyche jelly in drinks.and blend.only ice a lot.
And also black sugar with fresh milk.oh perl was not biled well.
Big disappointed.waste of money.
