Gotcha Fresh Tea - Footscray reviews
26The Flavour not as described and taste no Tea at all only Fresh Milk for Thai Milk Tea and Signature Milk Tea taste only Fresh Milk too.
Came back 2nd time. The staff is so friendly. I bought the strawberry green tea with cream cheese moouse. It tastes better than GongCha to be honest.
The pearls are chewy and the cream cheese moose tasted perfect! Highly rec this tea.
I used to love their bamboo charcoal milk tea I always get regular size, but today I decided to get a large size and it tastes very bland, it does not taste like my usual bamboo charcoal and the color is also different I ended up throwing my drink because it's tasteless.
I came here in the morning abt 10.30am 5/7. I was served by a lady staff that wasn’t nice and not even smile once to customer. The way she talked to customer didn’t look like she’s doing customer service. She made me feel like I wanted to walk away at that time and ruined my morning.
The drink was okay.
I paid 15 dollars for 2 and the taste was bad. Too sweet and just bad overall. The thai milk tea doesn’t even taste right
Really lovely staff. It is one of the best Gotcha Fresh Teas around. Perfectly cooked pearls. I love love love the reusable cups! My friends cat also approves
Used to be good, but tonight the ladies got my order wrong and instead of apologising, the ladies made a rude remark thinking i wouldn't understand Vietnamese.
I come here all the time. The pearls are always great. I ordered the Paris 1883, and it has never disappointed me. However, there is not much in the means of atmosphere. It is also not somewhere you sit and eat, more of an order then go. Service is great as well.
As you walk into the store the staffs literally just stay on their phone and does nothing to acknowledge your presence. After they took my order, they literally gossiped so loud that i can hear and understand the contents (you might want to tone it down when talking bad about other businesses). As i received the order, the staff asked me if i wanted a bag, i said no but continued to ask if i wanted one. I answered "no" again and they literally spoke in vietnamese asking why i'm giving them attitudes, believing i don't understand the language.
I bought a drink this morning, but I feel like I ask to get a free one, the staff is not so nice to me.
The female staff there kept cutting me off abruptly and was very rude. She wasn't willing to answer any of my questions properly and kept being blunt. I felt terrible and I was made to feel like I was an annoyance by ordering. Please work on your customer service skills and learn how to treat customers! Will not be coming back
Just got an order of a mango green tea with mango pop pearls and normal pearls, very disappointed, they messed up my order and there was white flakes in it as well as no regular black pearls. Never going back, don't recommend. Gotcha St Albans is better.
This is the worst milk tea I ever had in Melbourne. I ordered a taro milk tea and a passion fruit green tea with little sugar. However, the green tea is not refreshing at all. Its just just like sugar syrup mixed with passionfruit cordial. I have to rinse my mouth with some water to get rid of the sweetness. I went back to the store and asked staffs inside if they have accidentally made my order with more sugar. The staff denied and told me all drinks is made from a base syrup and he didn’t add any sugar in my drinks. I was quite confused, because the label on my drinks showing it’s 75%sugar. If it’s really what they told me, the it’s means that all the drink is diluted from premade syrup and the 75% sugar level is their lowest sugar level.
I am extremely disappointed with my drinks and want to raise alarm to others.
I used to be a regular customer of Gotcha. But something happened yesterday that made me really disappointed.
I am a really big fan of the black sugar fresh milk with extra grass jelly, yesterday afternoon about 1, I went there again for the black sugar fresh milk, and when I got home, I found a fly in it (shown in picture). And today I went there again for drinks, I told them about the situation, and the lady told me that she'll tell them about it, and she did told her staff about it, but she didn't apologize or anything, not even an apology.
On top of that, once they gave me this card, its like when you order a specific amount of drinks, they give you a specific amount of stamps (if that's what you call it), and when you get like 5 stamps they give you a free topping, and a free drink for 10. I went there yesterday with a card that has 4 stamps. I was meant to get a free topping because of the fifth stamp, but they did't ask what I wanted neither did they gave me a free topping.
Like I said earlier, I used to be a regular customer, but now that this has happened, I am really disappointed in them, and there is a really low chance that I will return back.: (
All my drinks taste the same with hard old pearls. Wont be coming back, Plenty of better quality Milk tea places out there.
This shop needs to work on their consistency, the last two times I've had drinks with hard dry pearls which is not nice. When made properly, the teas are very yummy.
Prices were similar to other places, but they've got a nice variety. Gone there a few times over the past weeks, so I've had different types of macchiatos, but only one of their yoghurt drinks. I enjoyed the mango yogurt drink with popping pearls, as well as the grape macchiato with fruit jelly. Their drinks taste pretty sweet, so if you can't handle sugar then you've also got the option of reducing sugar.
Do it! Enjoyed a passion a fruit bubble tea. So fresh you can feel the warm beans dancing with ice?
It's not bad but not great (3 star). Price is similar to other place but the range of options is quite large. Extra star for seating.
Next time pay attention when handing over the orders, check lids/caps properly so it wont spill while sippin!
