Goonawarra Golf Club

No point making a booking when it is not put in the system. Booked for 4 people and cant get on as they didn't put our booking in which was done a week ago.

Never played the course before & I was impressed with the playing conditions and service in the pro shop and club house.

I am frustrated that they took my money so quickly and today got a email from them and said they can't refunds my money back in full straight away because boss on oversea holiday, Why only boss can do it? Can't they give another person responsible or authorized a person (just in case boss away again) to do the same job just to make consumer happy? At the end NOT HAPPY JANE. I will tell all my social group member which is about 65 of them not the go there anymore.

Sadly the weather has forced some days of closure, they will be back course is in great condition, good teaching pros available.

Good country style course and not too far from town. Some fairways need a good weeding. Avoid when wet. OK to walk it. Worth a visit.

Hired the clubhouse for a Birthday celebration and I was very happy with the catering and serving staff were really good.

Course alittle wet, but we can't control nature. The canteen only had caffeine free coffee.yuck.next they will be supply vegan hamburgers.yuck.

Played here as a Green Fee player for 21 years. Hundreds of rounds. Own a property that backs onto the course so when l retire l can play daily. What a broken dream.
Utterly disgusted to find out that they have a board of Communist stooges that ban individuals from stepping foot there unless you've had two experimental medical procedures for something that has a 99.003 % survival rate.
Seriously, what discriminatory pack of Communist Segregationists.
Just so they know, l will be reporting them to the Discrimination Tribunal and the Human Rights Commission plus l will be paying out on them on every social media platform.

Attended a function at this club which was well organised. The finger food was delicious especially the crumbed calamari and prawns. The place has a very pleasant friendly vibe and looking out onto the course it is easily seen based on the number of players in attendance, that this quite a popular course. For the golfer reading this, you're not allowed to take your own golf cart on the course.

A very nice golf course. Challenging green with wide open fairways. Good for hackers and serious plsyers.

Nice golf course. Challenging at times with wide open fairways. Great nature surroundings as well. The fencing and general maintenance of the golf course does need some major investment. Hopefully with all the increased housing around the area, we will see an increase in the up-takers of golf in the area and give a much needed boost to club!

First timer at this course and it was a pleasant experience right off the bat! Friendly locals and the courses are well maintained.

The views are also amazing

Really nice course can be challenging with some of the pin placement. Well manicured fairways, greens tend to be very quick during the summer months.

The course is in great condition. Nice course, not too long and very reasonable green fees. Great views over the Sunbury township.

Lovely golf course, friendly people and great view overlooking Sunbury.
Due to wet conditions the course does seem to get a touch wet in the winter time, but all in all a lovely track.

It's a shame this great layout has not been maintained in it's original condition. The greens were ok but fairways weren't in the best shape and the surrounds are looking very shabby.

A bit windy and the greens were recently cored, course was fine nice & green and the staff friendly and helpful. I imagine it will be excellent in a few weeks.

Will definitely play there again soon.

Nice green course. Somewhat easy I would say.not too many bunkers hardly any water.but good layout and we'll maintained. Distance markers on the fairways appeared to be a rarity. Staff friendly and helpful, smallish cafe and produce. All in all a good place forms quiet round of golf.

Great golf course! Don’t think you will find a better value public course. Challenging and well kept greens

Beautiful course, well maintained and great staff. The course has everything you want, chipping area, putting green practice, practice fairways.i was a trial member and now a permanent. Personally drive past several golf courses just to get to here as i love it!
