Goodstart Early Learning Point Cook - The Strand

We love our son's childcare center. From day one, it's been perfect. Manpreet, Zara, Vena, Jo, and Mel are exceptional educators. Our child's happiness is evident. He learned to write his name in a day. Beyond academics, the care they provide is outstanding. It's a loving community, and they're not just teachers but mentors and friends. Highly recommended!

We recently moved from City to suburb and enrolled our daughter at the center. We were a little bit worried that our daughter will take time to adjust to the new centre however, to our surprise, she got comfortable only in a couple of days. She now has new friends (educators included) and loves going to the centre. I would highly recommend Goodstart Early Learning point cook - the Strand

If you are looking for a childcare, we will definitely recommend you this one. Henry has been looked after with patience and love in this childcare. After we moving to the other side of Mel, Henry tells us everyday that he misses all his friends and the educators at the Strand.

This centre is the best by far that I have ever come across. They have excellent educators the 4 I deal with are Stacey, Melissa, Jo-Ann and Manpreet, everyday is different and exciting for the kid's, they are learning something different everyday, they accommodate to every child's needs. My daughter never wants to miss a day.
You are always made to feel welcome, apart of a family. The energy that comes out of this centre is amazing, doesn't matter what you have going on in your personal life, you will always leave the centre with a smile on your face. I cannot thank the lady's enough for the care they have given my daughter and we will miss coming everyday at the end of this year when my daughter moves on to primary school, but we will definitely be staying in contact with the lady's at the centre as they are family to us. If you are looking at a centre for your child STOP and head down and meet the educators as you will not be disappointed.

The team at Goodstart The Strand are truly amazing! From the beginning we could see that the staff really love what they do, as the centre is just filled with warmth and compassion. From the reception staff, to the educators and management and other extended staff, all take on an active role in working together to make it such a lovely, safe and warm place for the children. My little one just loves it there! Drops offs are easy as she feels connected to the team and the environment. She sleeps well there and the team are so good at keeping her busy and entertained. The range of creative activities on offer each day is phenomenal and seeing the photos posted throughout the day of her smiling and engaging so well with everything and everyone is so comforting to see as a new mum. Thank you to all who work so hard at Goodstart The Strand, I am so grateful to you all! A special thank you to Stacey who constantly goes above and beyond for our little one, she is so caring, so thorough and such a professional in every way!

When we looked for care for our daughter we spent a lot of time looking at reviews of centres in the area. The Strand had a lot of great reviews and when we went for a tour we were not disappointed. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Our daughter settled in very quickly and much better than she had at previous centres. The educators in our daughters room made the settling in period easier and ensured that we knew how she was going and how her day has been. It certainly puts our mind at ease.
Since our daughter has started we have seen her grow and flourish in her new environment and made some great friendships and relationships with other children and her educators. We cannot fault the wonderful educators at The Strand, and are very thankful for all that they do for our daughter. The educators always say that they treat the children like they are their own and they really do, 5 out 5, we highly recommend The Strand!

The staff are amazing at supporting the kids and helping them grow and develop. They are always so friendly and happy. Can not thank them enough for their ongoing support especially during a tough year.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team at The Strand, they have been amazing through out this crazy year, they have all gone above and beyond for the children and families, every day they would welcome the children and families with huge smiles even though the times were though for all. My daughter has come along way since she has been attending the centre, she comes home happy and full of stories about what she has done that day. She has become a confident little girl and that is thanks to her amazing teachers, when I leave her I know that she is in great hands and that she is well looked after.

My son studied at another childcare before, but I feel he was not happy with it. I think he felt very lonely there.

Luckily, I sent him to Goodstart Strand and he absolutely enjoyed going to school since the very first day. Teachers were very considerate, thoughtful and care about my son's feeling. Especially thanks to teacher Kayla & Jo.

We tried another daycare prior to sending my son to The Strand, which didn't work out. Now he's at The Strand, he's just so happy going. The team is like a family, they don't put pressure on the kids, especially the younger ones, to do things kids are not really comfortable with, and that puts my mind in ease as a parent.

This centre is the best my son has attended, every single staff member are so welcoming & kind & beautiful. All of the staff go out of their way to make my husband and I feel like part of the Goodstart family. They ensure our 2 daughters are cared for in the same way we would at home. I always feel confident that they are in good hands each day. Most importantly they love attending Goodstart and learn so much from there peers and educators.

Our son has really blossomed in the centre. The educators are all very warm, approachable and dedicated and their system of using key educators meant that our son has formed very close bonds with his primary educators which really helped with his transition to centre based care when he first started attending The Strand. All the educators work well together to look after the children and expose them to a variety of activities to help them learn and develop. I am especially grateful to the educators for recommending moving our son from the nursery to the toddler room when they observed that he was ready, rather than based on his age and for taking such good care of him and the other children. Providing them with a safe and nurturing environment to learn and thrive.

Both our kids have been at this childcare since they were 18 months and 6 months old. They are 5 and 19 months now.
We couldn't be happier with the support and education that the staff have given our kids. We feel like they are part of our family.

The centre is very warm and inviting and we knew after our tour that this was the Centre for our child. The Educators are amazing, very welcoming, helpful and go above and beyond for the children. Our child has had many great incursions and excursions this year, and loves community walks. Melissa the Director has also organised some great parent info nights too around child safety and wellbeing. We highly recommend The Strand!

The staff are fantastic, Melissa and her staff are very easy to approach and talk too and they have gone over and above to help me and my son.
The facilities are well maintained and allow a wide range of learning and development for all children along with lots of space for physical activities, including a sand pit and some play equipment and a cubby house.
They use Storypark which is an app that gets regularly updated with your child’s progress and their exciting highlights and accomplishments, along with having one on ones so you can find out how your child is progressing.
Anna, Lauren and Helen who have been my sons Kinder educators this year have been fantastic and they take great pride in making sure the children are engaged and find out what motivates them to learn.
My son is always telling me about the new and exciting things he has learned.
Overall a very positive feel for both my son and I and highly recommend you consider sending your child to this centre.
