Goodstart Early Learning Hughesdale

Both my kids go here and they absolutely love it. I highly recommend the kinder program here. The kinder teachers Miss Luda and Evi are fantastic. My daughter was in 4 year kinder room this year, she joined here only in the last term of the kinder 4, I wish we could have started here earlier. They do different activities everyday and keep the kids very engaged and give them lot of opportunity to participate in activities like show and tell, dramas and play. Every week they have a theme to focus, learn and reflect. Other educators are also very nice and welcoming.

The childcare journey for our little one started when she was just 7 month old and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The center's director, along with the dedicated staff like Konika and Sayuri, has created a warm and nurturing environment. Their commitment to excellence is evident, making this center an outstanding choice for families. Kudos to the fantastic director for leading such a great team!

I love this childcare centre with educators who really care about the children's wellbeing! My daughter is in the nursery here and almost all the staff know her by name and her routines. When I pick up my child in the evening, the staff would update me what my child has been up to throughout the day.

Goodstart Hughesdale tried their best to make the adjustment as easy as possible when my daughter just started coming to this childcare, and they still do as she is starting her transition to the toddler room. The educators in the nursery (Loula, Lisa, Leah, Saras and more!) are very loving.

My son goes here and loves it! He is so happy when we arrive and has a great relationship with multiple staff members. My son has had medical requirements and the way the centre approached and handled them has been amazing. The Happy Feet program and Little sports heroes programs are wonderful getting kids out and active, and the daily updates come straight to my phone with photos and descriptions of what my son has been up to that day. Thank you team Hughesdale!

We have had three children at the centre over 9 years and I cannot praise them enough. Our children have been loved, cared for, educated and of course had fun! Highly recommend!

Love it! It has the best open outdoor space. It is perfect for my toddler. The staff and their programs are amazing. I love the Monday Little Sport Heroes program-it so good for the kids. My second child is about to start there soon. Can't wait.

I have no words to describe the gratitude I have for the group of educators that have been there for a longer period and saw both our kids grow up. I have complete trust in them and that should say a lot.

Worth mentioning is that Maria does miracles in the kitchen and I wish I could join the kids for lunch.

This is our second elc after our son couldn’t settle in the another elc for two months and we had to pull him out.

Due to the anxiety I developed after bad drop off and pick up from the first elc, the staff at Good Start Hughesdale are very kind and held my hand throughout the orientation. My baby settled within 2 weeks and went back to become the happy and cheeky kid he used to be. We were recommended this elc by friends who have two kids in this daycare and we can’t recommend it enough to other parents in this area.

What I have observed (that was different to the other elc)
- good hygiene standards, wipes are used and the floor is always clean no matter when. Bottles are always put away neatly at the end of the day.
- healthy snacks throughout the day for the babies
- friendly staff who bother to know your name even though they are from different rooms.
- experienced educators who have been in the same Centre for years.

Fantastic centre with incredibly caring staff who go above and beyond to provide an environment for children to flourish. My daughter loves attending this centre - thank you to everyone for all that you do for her!

I work four days a week after I had my second baby. Goodstart Oakleigh South (now it changed to Goodstart Hughesdale) helped my two boys settled in so well. My younger one sleeps and eats better in his nursery room than he sleeps and eats at home. I know how happy both of them are when they are at daycare from the updated online program, daily news and all the nice conversations from the educators from picking up and drop off time. It’s a big center but the amazing thing is it seems all the educators know all the children across the whole center. It just feels like a home for my children to be there, to play, explore and learn! Such an amazing centre. The love, care and education they have given to my child has been amazing! The above and beyond service that the director Jess and all educators provide is second to none.

The care that my children are receiving everyday from the educators is amazing. The centre has very friendly environment and the director of the centre is there to support you and answer any question all the time. One of the best centres that I have ever been. I highly recommend the centre.
