Goodlife Health Clubs reviews
64I'm a platinum member and enjoy multiple Goodlife locations. Docklands is good. Not too busy. Well equipped and clean.
I would recommend this gym. It is spacious. There is almost all equipment available, enough dumbells and bars. There is group training happening here every day. And best of all, 24 hours access to the gym.
The worst payment system I have experienced.
* They charge 20 AU per month when freezing your membership.
* you have 28 days limit to freeze your membership
* The charge weekly and they charge 10 AU if you just delay one day every payment.
* They charge one month in advance if you would like to cancel your membership.
* Limited number of equipments.
The only good thing is 24 hours open.
I'm Brazilian, and I came to study English in Australia, so I still don't communicate well, and some employees are simply very attentive and patient, that already wins me over. There is a lot of structure and equipment, but some devices for women are missing, such as the adductor and abductor, a device that is very necessary for us women. I don't know if I will continue due to the lack of this device.more in itself, very good!
They scammed me.
They didnt cancel my membership when I told them to and now they want me to pay 200 Dollars.
Good location but needs a sauna! Gym owner is unwilling to invest in facilities, at the very least put a steam room! Most other Goodlife gyms have this.
Joined goodlife gym today, casy who works there very friendly and gave me motivation to join.can’t wait to start my workout
A good gym overall. They do try hard to keep it clean. Very busy afternoons and equipment is not the newest.
It's actually my place, before and after work!
Complete with all the machines you need! Top!
Equipment is nice feels like I'm working out in an office. Squat racks don't have any mirrors so can't check yourself out or your depth, form. Employee tries to convince me this is the best deal ever. But because I ask questions and don't just say yes to everything he gets snobby with me and starts being rude. I then ask if I can have some time to think about it and if I can get a workout in and tells me to leave. Gym culture is dying wouldn't recommend. Probably one of the worst gym experiences I've had traveling all of Australia.
Joined up 2 weeks ago and so far can’t fault this gym or team.
It’s never too busy and there’s a good variety of equipment.
Gym is super clean to.

Very good and happy with my six months at good life Docklands. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Thanks again
Casey and McKenzie are always very welcoming whenever you come into the club. Very responsive and engaging whenever you have a question or an issue, great customer service! Shout out to Casey and McKenzie
Quite a spacious and aesthetically pleasing gym. Can be quite packed during peak hours but overall quality met my expectations.
Fans are always turned off. Complained about it multiple times, but the staff and management don't care. It seems other customers don't know about the fan switch by the wall, so they stand precariously on the Ironedge steps and switch the fans off by the power point. I've asked staff to at least erect signage, to no avail.
Staff never open balcony doors to allow ventilation – you'd think we weren't in a pandemic/super-flu wave or something.
Great club. Clean and a large variety of equipment. Plenty of squat racks and dead lifting stations as well.
I’m using Goodlife Docklands for the last three years and I find that a sense of community is a very positive experience here. But the staff as well as the trainers are extremely welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended
They hardly ever buy new equipments, and the adm thinks that only man work out here, so there isn’t much options for lower body workout. The stuff is rude, the public smells bad, the class room doesn’t have a system to clean the air and the room smells bad after the classes. If I had another gym close home I would have left already. I actually only work out here twice a week and home the other days. The stuff doesn’t even care when we complain. I almost forgot, the lockers are dirty too… there are spilled liquid marks that have never been cleaned for this two years I have been working out here.
If you have another option, dodge this bullet.
I really don't like seeing additional 'once off payments' that I was never advised of period. Also so OVERCROWDED at all times.
