42It's ok however my partner and I prefer to just do incidental exercise these days or go for a swim. We've both decided we're too old to care about our appearances anymore. But we still liked it.
The best gym i’ve been to (including other good life gyms) this one has the most parking acces, the most variety of equipment, 24/7 access, safe location so safe to come at night, there’s a ladies only section with like 10 different machines / treadmill & bike like a mini gym, a massive studio with full time access (perfect for me being a dancer can jump around yadiya), AWESOME personal trainers (shoutout conor you legend!) and super awesome staff! The vibe of the whole place is always good and never too packed! Highly recommend!
It was great to see staff member Joy joining in the Saturday morning group training class. Her friendly attitude always makes me have fun!
Favourite Goodlife I’ve ever been to, atmosphere is incredible to train in and everyone is super lovely
Took money out off my account after a free trial that I canceled after a day. I went in to the front desk countless times to get my money back and they kept telling me they will do it tonight and I’ll get an email and text confirmation…which they never sent me every time, they also now ignore my messages about this situation.
So overall the worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced xoxo
My friend was creeped on by one of the PT's, goodlife chelsea clearly supports harrasment towards young women.
The most poorly managed gym ive ever been too. Keep taking money out of my account, following this up with the bank

Cancelled membership after a trial and they continued to charge me, even after I’d raised the issue and had a refund processed. Now at Kennedy’s, run by great local owner, welcoming staff and no joining fees, cancellation time period or charges.
Been at Goodlife for 8 months now and it has been a fantastic experience. Staff are super friendly and special mention to Alysia helping me get signed up and transitioned from my old gym.
Great atmosphere, good equipment, friendly staff and the ability to train at any Goodlife is a great option when i'm working away.

The Pt’s are amazing!
Kept charging me for 3 months after cancellation, also charged the wrong amount for my plan for first months talking to 4 workers before getting it changed with no apology. Place is a joke
This is a good gym, I like the weight training, cardio. Plenty of options for the equipment. Wish there were more cable equipment thou. Staff at the reception are kind and welcoming. Great facilities. I recommend it with no hesitation.
Signed up on a no lock in “cancel any time” deal. I have moved to another part of Melbourne and can no longer attend this gym so sent an email requesting cancellation of my membership. They advised they would continue direct debiting from my account for several weeks after my cancellation request (why?). I queried why as a no lock in customer should I pay any more and they simply stopped responding. I have since instructed my bank to block any further debits and have sent three follow up emails - all of which have been ignored, however, I continue to receive automated requests for payment.
Absolutely pathetic business. AVOID.
Receptionist, Joy, always friendly and says hello. Fantastic PT, Michael, always pushing and encouraging to reach new levels. And the other members in the morning always up for a chat and laugh.

Recently, i visited the Good Life Chelsea Heights chain as i was after a gym membership. The guy offered me a four week free trail. I quote him saying "you can cancel a day before the fourth week and you wont pay a cent". He also pressured me to sign up on that day as it was a 'one day special offer'. He lied, they lied. BEWARE of these sales scams, they try to rope you into their contracts then gaslight you into believing that you misunderstood the terms. (Which they said they would update in line with the new offer).
What makes things worse is the manager of GLHC doesnt have the decency of calling me to discuss the matter. I have literally had to contact her to see where i stand regarding the matter. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I am now left with a fee which i am preparing a case to send to VCAT. This isnt about money its about transparency and human decency.

Relatively uncrowded and access to equipment is good. Place is reasonably clean and usually uncluttered.
Same crew dedicated to keeping in shape. Sometimes quiet so can get your done easily without distraction.
Literally will steal your money. Incompetent management, will charge you without providing you with a tag. Will not reimburse you for a gym which you cannot access without a tag. $20 a week for a gym that isn’t special and pay half that amount at other gyms.
Charged me $20 x 8 for a gym I never used as they never gave me a tag. Their response was tough luck and we won’t don’t anything about it. They also won’t tell you key components of the contract as well.
Literally all the previous reviews on here say the same thing.
The equipment are great, plenty of parking, easy access.etc. But my stars go for some of the great staff. My PT is Brandon and he's brilliant. Adele and Mel are fantastic, friendly and helpful. I rate the gym at 3 stars because of their business with Debit Success who are the worst payment company to deal with. Unauthorised payments, penalties and incompetence in fixing mistakes are common with Debit Success and I believe that should have an impact on the businesses that engage them. If GoodLife had chosen some other system of payment, I would've rated them 5 stars.
