6I went here for a conference. Huge and well planned building. Always busy with programs. Nearby to DFO.
One of the many rooms within the Exhibition complex. On the ground floor, a large, extremely high warehouse style ceiling approx 20- 30metres high.it's a very simple, industrial room with no decoration or ornamentation. Access for equipment, displays etc is via a large, approx 10 metre X 10 metre high, massive roll up door giving access to loading dock 11. Staff were very helpful and available during the stress of bump in/bump out making sure anything ordered had been supplied (mid space power points, furniture etc). Kudos to Bianca who was are contact on the day and made sure everything went smoothly.
Goldfields Event Space is inside the MECE. Its an adaptable area that offers all the space you need for sophisticated gala dinners, long lunches or exhibitions. Featuring adjustable walls that let you configure the room to your needs, this space is perfectly designed for a range of unique events. There is also an alfresco area close to the theatre.
Goldfields is located near meeting rooms and exhibition bays. Perfect as either an exhibition or catering space.
Food provided plenty of and tasty. Large ugly room. Very cold until they fixed the heating
Very good facilities. Vehicles can come into the auditorium making it easy to transport. Acoustics was good
