Goldfield Holiday Units

Excellent location, just a 600m stroll along the picturesque Ovens River into town. Well appointed unit with everything we have needed for a week's stay. Spotlessly clean and quiet too. Our thoughtful hosts even had the heater in our unit on as we checked in extremely late due to car trouble. We've already booked for next year!

The unit was lovely and had not long been renovated. Was spotlessly clean with all the amenities that you could want.

Overall satisfactory with Nice view. My family wants to go again but the managers has refused to give for one day may be due to very good rating and bookings they are getting. However it was nice stay I had with family there in the past.

Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped rooms and very friendly service. The units are in a single block and situated on the busy Great Alpine Road so it can be noisy. The highlight is the stunning garden with furniture, next to the river, to sit and enjoy.

Great place to stay with very well maintained and cleaned rooms. Very close (5-7 mins walk) to Woolies, shops & cafes. Absolutely loved the well maintained lawn at the rear which connects to walking trail next to the river. It was great dealing with Marco as well. Would love to stay here again.

From the moment we arrived we were made feel welcomed by Marco and Sam. The rooms are comfortable, meticulously cleaned and well maintained. The gardens to the rear are equally well maintained and make a perfect place to relax and enjoy the river. An easy, flat 400mtr walk into town on part of the canyon walk make it an ideal location. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Bright.

Overall friendly and great experience. Accommodating to a baby, highchair and portacot available. Walking distance to the local Woolworths, river walking track at the back of the Holiday Units. Would happily return.

We loved it here!
We only stayed for a couple of nights but we will definitely be back. The unit was spotless and so homey, everything we needed was there and more. The location is amazing too - so close to the river and close enough to the splash park to walk, even with a little one. The biggest win for us though, was the swing. Our little girl loved it and it meant that we could have a drink and chill while she played. Thanks guys!

We had a stay booked at Goldfields last year but went into lockdown. We thought we may as well keep the stay for this year and I am very glad we did! It is in the best location, 5 minute walk to town. The units are well kept and the amenities are great. Sam and Marco we're very easy to communicate with and they did their best to accommodate us on a weekend when we had to reschedule. Will definitely be back:)

Impressed by the cleanliness of this accommodation as well as the very friendly and welcoming service of the owners. The rooms, kitchen, bathroom etc are as advertised.

Perfect location right on the river and a lovely short walk into town.
The apartment was clean, comfortable, warm and had everything we needed.
Marco and Sam were so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
We really enjoyed staying here and would love to come back again!

Clean rooms and very kind owners. Also a very convenient location for skiing, snowboarding and others. On top of that there was a woolworths 1 min away from the holiday units which was super convient.

Stayed at Goldfields for a couple of nights The owners are so friendly and helpfull. The Units were so warm and comfortable The showers were lovely and hot and the beds were comfortable great location close to town and Canyon walk close

This is our 4th visit staying at Goldfield Holiday Units in recent years.
The location is fantastic - park the car and forget about it unless going for a drive.a few minutes walk from the town centre. Sam and Marco, the owners are very lovely. We enjoy sitting at the available tables down the back of the property near the river with a glass of red. The unit we stay in was refurbished since out last visit and it's gorgeous (going to miss the shower)

Perfect. The place was super clean they provided everything you would need to cook with. Beautiful location. The owners Sam and Marco we're lovely. 10/10 highly recommend staying here and will be coming back again ️️

Great accommodation, very spacious and an easy walk to everything in town via the river walk right out the back. Hosts were so, so friendly. Will definitely consider this for our next stay in the area.

Clean unit with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Friendly, helpful hosts. Direct access to river frontage with chairs and tables for relaxing beside the river. Short walk into town shops, cafes and restaurants. Have already rebooked to stay again!
