Couldn’t rate and recommend the team at Golden Ribbon more for their sewing and alterations services. I was looking to have a bedcover custom made as a gift and the end product exceeded my expectations. The quality of workmanship was fantastic and great value considering the price and turnaround time. I work as a property stylist with lots of high quality bedding, and the product was quite comparable to something I would’ve spent a lot more money to purchase. Not only that, but the service I received was top tier with great communication via text message and their willingness to meet my need to have it done asap as I had left it to last minute, which is all greatly appreciated. The worst dry cleaners!
My luxury dress could only be done in a certain machine and they said they could clean the dress.
They have ruined the dress, stained it pink and burnt the bottom
Don’t not use them
No call, no sympathy they ruined a $1900 dress

Can alter mens trousers no worries, mens jackets? You can do a better job yourself at home. Leave alterations to professionals which in my experience this company is not.

I brought in a pair of new pants that were too big, to be altered. Despite the initial measuring, they ended up making it way too tight, so they need readjustment again. Unfortunately, they’ve cut out the initial material and since the pants have patterns, the material they’ve subbed in are not at similar at all. What’s hilarious is now the pants are too BIG, essentially similar to the original size, except with an ugly patch on the waist. We’re putting them back for another round of readjustment, hopefully we can finally settle this. So far there has been no apology whatsoever.

I’m very disappointment at the poor service and the clear lack of alterations skill/experience, I would recommend everyone to stay away.

Great prices and took very good care of my wedding suit and my wife's wedding dress! We thought the oil and dirt stains on the trains were never going to clean up, but these guys did it! Top notch job. Will travel 30 mins from the northern suburbs just to get my dry cleaning done here:)

I took in three items of clothing to be altered recently. One of the skirts was a tricky material to work with, they called me back in to show me the stitching they planned on doing but they wanted to check if that was ok with me first before they touched it. I was really impressed with the care they took with my clothing. The end result was fantastic and very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning.
