Golden Pretzel

If you're looking for a tasty snack, these pretzels are definitely worth a try! The jalapeño and toffee flavors were both delicious. The pretzels themselves were yummy and had the perfect amount of salt. I highly recommend them!

Brought 2 take away cinnamon sugar pretzels last Sunday afternoon & took straight home for afternoon tea.
When we started eating them the comments were “are they undercooked or stale? ” stodgy & dry, not soft & delicious as expected. My friend even broke a crown from her tooth while eating a piece. Not a good experience

It might be silly to right an in-depth review for takeaway, but I didn’t want to leave a low review with no explanation.

I had the pretzels here on two separate occasions (Friday 4/11 & Saturday 5/11). On Friday the service by a lovely Asian lady was great and the food was enjoyable. Came on Saturday to have again and the service was a stark contrast. There was no acknowledgment and I stood there for a while before someone came up with no greeting, just standing there waiting for an order. Honestly, the young lady that served me seemed so disinterested and annoyed to be there. She might have been having a bad day, so I did not dwell on it.

After getting our food and leaving, I noticed shortly after that we were missing a pretzel. It was quite busy, so instead of getting the attention of a worker and skipping the queue, we decided to wait in line and order some drinks as well when it was our turn again.

The second young lady served us and was apologetic about the missing pretzel but the first girl who was avoiding before was now lingering seeming skeptical we actually were missing an item. No apology from her for forgetting. I understand simple mistakes may be made especially when busy so I was happy to wait for the forgotten pretzel to be made and didn’t voice any frustration.

When we received the final pretzel, I asked if we can order some drinks as well and the second girl said sorry but no as there were people in the queue. I was quite upset at this, as we waited in line like the rest of the customers and we’re not able to get drinks as well? Just the forgotten pretzel: (It was busy and I didn’t feel the need to escalate further over refused drinks, so we just left and got drinks elsewhere.

Golden Pretzel has quickly become one of my favourite things ever! I went 25 years without ever trying a pretzel, and I’ve been missing out! These pretzels are fresh, delicious, and served with a smile time and time again! Highly recommend.

The Belgian Chocolate pretzel I bought for $9 had an overwhelming vinegar/sour smell which was also present in the taste of the chocolate sauce. Maybe just a bad batch of sauce but it was not enjoyable at all. Unlikely to go back to try again

I absolutely love this place! Nice pick me up food when I’m hungry, but not hungry enough to have a big meal. The owners are super kind and accomodating, and the pretzels are so good I buy them at least 3-4 times a week. Hands down one of my favourite snacks to eat in the centre!

Delicious pretzels. Tried one day over Menulog, and just had to go in store for more! Couple that run it are lovely and have excellent customer service as well. Would go again for more!
