Need to do something with the pies as they weren’t the greatest at 9am this morning, coffee was good however

Amazing baked goods and great place for an old fashioned hand made sand-which. Obviously made fresh daily. Ham, Cheese + Pineapple is awesome.

Hopefully whoever thought it was a good idea to replace the plastic strip curtain at the entry with one made out of white rope and then never wash it doesn’t work in the kitchen, that thing was part blackened with grime and felt revolting to brush out of the way. Doesn’t bode well for their cleanliness standards elsewhere

Golden Pastry Bread Shop is a absolute winner of a Bakery! Everything is top quality and prepared perfectly, a classic style Bakery that has been on top of its game for years and years, the pies are fantastic as well as everything else in store, the Neenish Tart is one of the best I've had.the cream inside was fresh and rather generous, I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely be a return customer and I highly recommend stopping in if you are hungry or want a Coffee.

A quaint little bakery with friendly staff and nice displays. They have a large variety of sweet items and a smaller selection of regular savoury pastries and breads. I decided to get a Vegemite scroll for my breakfast, which to my surprise was considerably large and not even slightly expensive. Albeit unfortunately the Vegemite scroll was not that great itself; the pastry was cold, slightly tough and doughy. I can only assume it had been in the display for over a full day.

Love this little bakery. Delicious pies, great cakes, nice coffee, yummy sandwiches. The staff are super friendly and it is very affordable. What more could you want in little ole Mooroolbark. Thanks for always serving us with a smile!

This bakery used to be very well priced.
Not any more so I’m dropping 2 stars.

Custard cream slice is tasty but should be bigger also.

This is the only bakery I go to in Mooroolbark, beat ever and the hot chocolate are better than maccas.

Best sausage rolls in 4 suburbs! Fast, friendly service. I go there specifically for the sausage rolls.

This is a magnificent bakery and there are many reasons I come here. Firstly, it's affordable. Secondly, the range of food is excellent. Thirdly, the staff are always so nice. Whoever trains the staff - keep it up because they never fail to please.
This week it was scones, a mini loaf of bread (for those of us where there are only two people in the house) and of course, a meat pie.
Located centrally to Coles and close to a large chain bakery that never seems to be busy, it's a testament of how much people enjoy coming here.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Plenty of parking out the front.

Purchased a ham and salad roll, the roll was soggy from the tomato and there was a disgusting hair in the roll. Not good:/

I frequent here with the kids because their donuts are consistently good, and fairly cheap. They just got a new coffee machine and I was surprised to see the attention to detail while preparing my cappuccino. Nicely done.
