Golden Hills Brewery reviews
64This was a great place to go out for dinner. Was clean, food was exceptional and the service was really fantastic.
Was nice and warm inside, food was good and had a few different beers but liked the cider the best.
My favorite local place for a lovely meal! Open and refreshing ambiance, really good range of food and drinks. Excellent service! Food is great!
Great place. Friendly staff. Great service. Great food. Fantastic atmosphere. Great range of beers. Could not fault. Our first time here. Will definately be back!
Great food and great service. They brew their own beer on site and have a great range in particular some rare American styles. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor dining area out the front and they do sell their beer in takeaway cans if you enjoy the flavours in offer!
Great brewery with a great range of beers. I had a stout which was Simple’s to a lighter porter. Definitely my type of tipple. The food is pretty good as well. Typically is was quite pricy so I would only go occasionally. Huge indoor sitting area with a smaller outside area. The staff were very good and friendly. Service was quick.
Large interior which allows big group bookings and tables outside under deck to allow for bikes and dogs.
The beer and pizza is good. The pizza's are BIG and the pizza base was so good had to eat the crusts too.
Looks like they also offer day specials like streak, pizza nights and footy nights and trivia.
Fries were good. Pizza good, couldnt finish the burger due to an overpowering tase of mustard. Beer was ok.
I go there all the time, foods delicious, beers great. But the wait times for drinks are far too long, I would like to see improvement in this area, or at least allow us to walk up and purchase at the bar
Wow. Showed up nearby and spotted it by accident. Delicious IPA. They have great service and bring water. Fries are excellent. Staff awesomeness. Outdoors spaces are great out front in these times. Indoors looks ace.
Roast Pumpkin Pizza - 5/5
Kids Margarita - 5/5
Chicken Parma - 5/5
Juices - 5/5
Draught Beer - 5/5
Overall a very good experience.
See you next time ️
Worth a visit.or two.or three.or.
I read the reviews below and was thinking twice before I go and I am so happy that I decided to check by myself. We had a great time. Staff was so kind and friendly, the atmosphere of the place is fantastic and the food is so good! The portions are big, so full of flavor.absolutely delicious and a great experience!
A place we will return often for sure.
Really great place to visit. Very close to public transport. Great selection of drinks and food in local gem.
Great modern pub food. Delicious, interesting and fresh tasting. Generous portions. We will definitely be back.
Meh, would not come back. Food was over priced for what we go. Size was small and taste was average. Very average food, beer was OK. Got a paddle and one or two were OK but just average. 4.1 stars average is not reflective of our meal.
Slowest service! We waited 45 minutes for 2 coffees and a muffin! It is outrageous that it took that long for literally a coffee. I will not be coming back.
Atmosphere and overall venue is nice, clean and appealing. Although have been here 3 times now and do not plan on returning. Meals have been average to the point where my glass of coke was the best part of my meal/ experience of the place. I returned hoping it was a once off although was left disappointed again. Great location and great for the locals, hopefully this place can improve ASAP!: (
Golden Hills Brewery was a pleasant surprise for breakfast recently. It seems to have a number of purposes - breakfast / brunch / lunch / ore dinner drinks gathering / dinner / nightlife / entertainment.
It’s certainly a large place that could easily accommodate 150 people but our table of 6 seemed pretty cosy too.
Pizza was on the menu for most of us and it was delicious. Not too many too many toppings but the base was perfectly crispy. My son had a burger - huge! He could barely eat the chips. My friend had the fish and chips. Fish was fresh s d nicely battered - not over battered which we had recently.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Nice products to purchase at the entrance. Staff were extremely helpful. Good parking out the front
Rating the beers only after building some picnic tables for the local Nillumbik council. Draught is brilliant and refreshing, good value. New World Pilsener is hoppy, fresh, fruity and with a hint of citrus and creamy head. Will need to return for dining.
Cannot believe the most popular dishes have been removed, Korean Fried Cauliflower and Korean Fried Chicken. They were the reason I went with my family and the reason my extended family and friends went there for. There are places already offering higher level dining dishes in the Yarra Valley, this place WAS a viable local alternative due to it's more appropriately priced approach. I wish them well in the future though.
