Few restaurants provide good indian taste food here and this is one of them…. Tasty food but not much space to sit and dine in.

I usually visit but this time I got very disappointing experience, there is a short height girl long hair, talkative, speaks loudly, refused giving me pani poori by saying it is out of stock, when I can see there are plenty of gpa I poori on counter. This is the forth time when same girl refused me for providing service.
I am very disappointed with the service.

I ordered amritsari kulcha, more it looks like aloo pratha and even it’s uncooked, so disappointed with food.

There is no doubt the food is so good here. I love the paranthas, thali, chole bhatura and the sweets served here. The prices are reasonable too. Gulfi (frozen version of Rabdi here) is more of flour.

The only (and the biggest) problem here is the waiting time, especially for the dine-in customers. Unlike some previous comments here, the dine-in customers gets the most least attention. The staff don't even bother to come to your table and take the order. Once ordered easy wait for a minimum of 30 to 40 minutes, sometimes I have to remind them I have ordered and waiting. The staff at the counter are damn slow to serve the queue and avoid eye contacts.

They are also a bit unorganized as after entering there is always a queue that may be waiting for pick-up or waiting to order or waiting to dine-in.

I love their food but we all hate the waiting time and hospitality here, especially when we have hungry kids waiting along with us. I suggest order via phone and pick after 45 minutes. Unfortunately the dine-in service is bit sluggish here.

Hygiene? The lady who is at counter, comes and cleans the table, leaves the cleaning cloth right there takes the customer's food to their table comes back and collects payment arranged the floor mat with bare hands next again goes on to serving customer's food. I told another staff member who listened and assured me that he would talk to her. After that all the time until I finished eating I was getting a lot of stare. She was serving elderly customers without any Hygiene. Food was good.

Kulcha plates and Samosas are yummy!
Jalebies are my fav as well. Although seating is limited, I usually get takeaway anyways.

Love the food and sweets every time (5 years). All vegetarian menu, Hygienic, value for money and friendly staff.

Update:
Sadly something changed in my recent orders. Taste is little off now.be it chhole or paranthas

It's not a fine dine but a great place for Indian sweets, snacks and quick bites. The Indian Thali is good value for money

We bought pakoda from this place which were burnt. One should have common sense not to serve burnt dishes to customers when they are paying for them. This is not a mistake they did. When food is burned you can see that and smell that. At least don’t serve it.

One of the best place for north indian food. The chole bhature here is one of the best in Melbourne. I try to visit once in a fortnight atleast just to try that:). Apart from that I have tried chats, noodle, thali, pani puri etc. Every food item tastes great and makes your day. Further the quality and quantity is more than value for money. If there is rush the staff informs you about the wait time in advance which helps you avoid unplanned waits and hangry mode. Overall must place to visit!

This restaurant is best for north Indian dishes, chaats and indian sweets. Its only veg restaurant but they do have vast range of curries and indian food. Must try

Good service and nice staff. All delicious indian food is available here. They have seperate vegetarian and non-vegetarian shops at the same place. But sometimes there’s a lot of delay to get the order which needs to be improved.

Heard a lot about this restaurant so went all the way from Burwood. Ordered chaat, noodles and indian style burger. Chaat was good and way better than maximum of restaurants in Melbourne. But highly disappointed with the noodles and burger. Not sure whether noodles means maggi. If yes then maybe i am wrong otherwise they need to think whether charging 10$ for maggi is worth it. Burger was fine. If desperate to have indian style burger go for it otherwise better you skip it. Just hoping atleast you maintain the quality of your chaat. Thanks

The food was not worth the price. The lamb Rogan Josh was completely off, called to complain but instead I was transferred to 3 people before someone actually listened. Poor service, don't waste your time or money!

Exceptional quality of food and sweets. Sweets are made fresh every morning and you can tell when you taste them. I have been coming here for past one year and have no complaints on quality or price.

This place has no value of time at all. There has never been a chance when I did not wait a longggg time even for the simplest thing. Today I am waiting on only 4 naans and 3 tawa rotis. They will always say 15 minutes and never deliver!

This is the worst sweet shop I've ever been to my friends and family got sick from their food and I called the restaurant to tell them this is was provided a mobile number of the manager which didn't work I called them again the line was disconnected. This restaurant has zero care for the food or its customers avoid at all cost.
