Every meal I've had here has been fresh and tasty.

Coors light on tap.you ripper. $14.14 for a pint.better off heading down to premix and buying 8 silver bullets for $22.tell em they are dreaming. Luckily the college kids around have their dads bank cards.

We were in the area and stumbled upon the Gold Diggers Arms, and what a "Gold mine" it was.
The two waitresses were very busy, but with that taken into account, the service couldn't be faulted.
I love a good chicken parmigiana, and although at $32, the price was a bit steep, it was the best pama l have ever had. The presentation was lovely because it was cooked and plated perfectly.
Compliments to the chef for such a tasty succulent & crispy meal.
We very much enjoyed our interactions with the young waitress as well.
We'll be back again for what was a superior dining experience.

Nice modern style pub, meals are very, very good! Staff are also helpful and friendly. Was not surprised how busy it was on a week night, as they know what they are doing.

Dinner with colleagues after work, we orders lots of entrée to share with. The food and drink are amazing! Good vibes. Definitely recommend!

Had a night with friends here and it was fun. I didn't order food but they did and weren't that happy with it, but the general atmosphere if just going for drinks and a night out was ok.

2022 review: Parma is much more expensive these days but it's hard to beat in terms of quality. Lovely thick juicy chicken that you can actually see layers in- like real chicken is supposed to be.

Original Review 2017: Can only speak for the public bar menu. Reasonably priced, generous portions (parma is massive). Good pub food with friendly service.

Amazing service (staff so attentive without being too much), great food and great ambiance too - will definitely be back. Went with a party of 12 and we all enjoyed our meals - all served at once, all delicious! Great wine and drink list.and desserts were amazing!

Excellent food and venue. We were a large group, everyone’s meal arrived at the same time, nothing was too much trouble. Paul and his colleagues were fantastic. Exceptional service.

I've been raving about this place since I visited. A great old style pub that has been renovated. Off the main road reminding me of my home in inner northwest Melbourne. Where pubs still hold their traditional value.
The punters here where lovely as well, making us feel welcome and involved. Everyone was up for great banter and the meals were spot on

Updating my review from pre-covid. Hopefully the current menu (plenty of fried options, not much imagination) will improve as the Diggers find it's feet again. My gnocchi was delicious, but the cauliflower bites for entree (fried.) were cold in the middle. I know this venue can do better, so hopefully I'll bang another start on after my next visit.

A good quick my meal before a show. Really enjoyed their Beef Schnitzel. Served in plenty of time to get to the theatre.

Dropped in for a quick lunch and ordered the Veal Parmi - finally a REAL veal schnitzel and not a flattened piece of cardboard. Juicy thick and the best veal schnitzel I’ve had for years. Friendly staff. Happy customer here.
