The quality of the food we had was not up to the mark. The staff appeared disorganised and when we received our BBQ plate, we had to wait for almost 10 minutes to get the cooking utensils. Additionally, the pre-cooked food was average at best, and some of it was even served cold.

Although there were buttons on the table to request assistance, it was still quite challenging to grab someone's attention to change the plates. The buttons didn't seem to work properly, and it would take us almost 15 minutes to get someone to change our plate.

Considering the price we paid, the experience was not worth it at all.

Overall ok experience, steaks were frozen which made it harder to cook and not much variety with food.

Staff were super occupying and constantly changed our grills.

Very average buffet, paper plates and
the meats didn’t get hot enough on the hot plate,
We chose to forego the free dessert there and go somewhere else to pay for a decent dessert after a disappointing dinner. Over priced also

Overpriced for what it is, some of the food was pretty good, some woeful, but to serve everything on paper plates!? ! C’mon!

I’d go back for $35-40 pp, but not at $50-60 pp.

To be honest this was the worst meal I have ever had. The meat quality was terrible some meat was grey some frozen just gross looking. It looks like it’s been out of the fridge for hours didn’t try the seafood for this reason. The rest of the food was a lot of fried food, spring rolls, fish bites, chicken wings, tempura prawns fast food style not Korean bbq as I know it. The cooked food was boiled rice, fried rice and stew or goulash type of dishes all seemed to be gross looking nothing appealing. Was amazed by all the positive reviews not sure I could say a single positive word about this experience which was a special occasion. The price is extremely high for the quality of food and I would give it a minus star if one was available.

Meat lovers who love meat, it must be very enjoyable to come here to eat meat. There are a lot of cooked food available. My colleagues and I came here for dinner at the end of April. We like the beef here, the marbling is very beautiful, and the pork belly is also the star ingredient of Korean barbecue. It may be for cleaning the grill, so it is all paved. Baking paper, so sometimes it gets in the way and a bit stuck. Sliced meat wrapped in lettuce makes people obsessed with this authentic Korean cuisine. Weekday evening consumption is $52.8 per person, value for money, Korean BBQ that you can eat very happily.

Staff are Chinese, place is absolutely not Korean BBQ, This is nothing more than a buffet with "Korean BBQ" in the name. Korean BBQ doesn't involve Japanese dishes, nor does it involve satay chicken, for goodness sake, Koreans don't even like Japanese that much. This is for people that don't know what KBBQ really is.

Been here 3 times, the experience got progressively worse.

1st time was fantastic. It was their grand opening. Outstanding service, great variety and quality of food. Special promotion on price. Definitely a 5 star first impression. Good job on the opening.

2nd time was ok. There was reluctance from staff to change over our charred cast iron plate. Two of our paper plates also caught fire, but that's ok, we put out the fires without any drama. I think this is the one and only KBBQ restaurant using paper. I've been to most KBBQs in Melb.

3rd visit, gave it another chance. Everything was average. We now cook on baking paper on top of the cast iron plate, easier to change over I suppose. Still using flammable disposable paper plates, this time kept them further away from the heat. I think their disposable chopsticks got thinner too. Anyway the dealbreaker for me was.their salmon nigiri was replaced with canned tuna sushi. Don't know if it's temporary or not, but the salmon nigiri was all that I had going for me.

For $59pp.nah.: (

Service was very friendly and accomodang.
Atmosphere - busy when we were there on a Tuesday but restaurant is spacious and tables are well spaced.

They need to include a recipe guide for marinades/sauces etc. We have no idea how to make Korean food. They should also preheat the griddle before you arrive for your booking so it’s ready to cook on.

I've been considering writing this review for the past 2 days since eating here, and wondering if I was being too critical.

The service and atmosphere were fantastic, and the waiters/waitresses that continued to look after our group were attentive, lovely and asking good questions to keep our experience going.

For me, I can't buy into the hype that seems to have perpetuated in other reviews, specifically around the food and cost. The all-you-can-eat styling is certainly a winner, and the selection of food was varied, constantly topped up, but it was mostly only of "good" quality. (There were also a few colder items left in the 'warmers' that could have garnered greater attention from the kitchen staff).
I just can't seem to justify close to $70pp (yes, granted, weekends will always be more pricey), for food quality that was OK at best. The meat quality was not worthy of this price, and for this per person cost, I would have considered elsewhere.

A shame, because the rest of our dining experience was great.
Granted, this review is purely the ramblings of one person, but I just cannot shake past the cost per head for the quality of food you receive here.

Budget setting and budget food for a premium price. Reminded me of an old hospital style cafeteria or similar. The only table service is to order drinks, and you eat on paper plates. The meats in particular are very average quality, I'd say cheap thawed imported. The Kim chi and pickled vegetables range were ok. Very surprised that people have rated this place well.

Unfortunately not a good experience, at the beginning food was good but ran out of gas then the seafood we had in the grill became chewy and not nice tasting. On top on that I informed that my daughter didn’t join us for the buffet as she came later to sit and wait for us to finish our food but they charged her $59+15% surcharge +% fee for using our card to pay because she sat at our table to wait for us. If the attendant was not in her phone all the time she would have noticed how many people actually ate.

First time we had been here after saying we should for months. Two adults, two pre-teen kids. We've only tried Korean BBQ a couple of times.

The waitress was very helpful and explained everything to us. We collected the food we wanted, both the hot cooked food, fresh salad and meat for BBQing, from a room at the back of the restaurant. All the food was beautiful, fresh and delicious. The chocolate cake was like a cloud!

We will definitely be back with friends!

I took two photos while I was here: one at the entrance waiting to be seated and one of my final plate when I was far, far too full to eat any thing else (wanted to but I was beyond full, I was in a protein-carb nirvana of delicious, blissful pain and joy). Man, this place is noisy as - people are just buzzing with joy. My fav food was the pre-cooked pork stew: big, fatty chucks of tender pork in a wonderful, light gravy. Folks, they have a gotdang chocolate fountain AND a freezer full of ice creams! Cooking the meat is so easy, so quick. The only suggestion I have is: better plates. Paper plates and cutting meat is not a good combo. The plates are firm but a few knife strokes caused holes. No biggie but worth mentioning.
