We went to Godfreys today with the intention of buying a Dyson stick vacuum, but found that Godfreys don’t stock Dyson. We were a bit disappointed but decided to have a look at the alternatives, and thanks to Joseph and his excellent customer service we bought a Wertheim Evolution stick vacuum.
I never thought I would say that I loved a vacuum cleaner, but I love this one already! So light, so easy to use and it picks up more in 2 minutes than our old vacuum did in 20 minutes. I am actually looking forward to vacuuming now!
I’ve spent 33 years in customer service and must congratulate Joseph on his friendly, non-pushy, knowledgeable customer service. Thank you!

Expensive. No such thing as boxing day sales. Couldn't even get some free filters with my thousand dollar vacuum

I absolutely love the Hoover Allergy Bagged vacuum cleaner with a deep cleaning powerhead that Godfreys recommended. Its reach is so much better than my previous vacuum cleaner, it's easy to carry and copes well with cat hair and our rugs.

Really happy with the level of service I received.

I ordered online at night to collect from the store and it was ready by lunch the next day.

I ordered a steam mop and additional steam mop pads. The staff were friendly and let me know I had ordered the wrong pads for the steam mop and facilitated a swap in store. A lot of other businesses would just let you walk out the door but I appreciated the heads up.

Will shop here again thanks to the good service.

Dropped off a vacuum cleaner for repair on 9/01.9 days later got a text asking me to contact the office to confirm cost and approval to proceed. That's a far amount of time, but no big deal.
Called the office to confirm it could proceed and was told it would be one week. I called a week later and was told it wasn't ready and then would let me know when it was ready.
A few weeks later I went in on a weekend to see if it was ready and they told me it wasn't ready yet.
Now on 19/02 I called wondering where the vacuum cleaner was and have been told it never progressed past the approval stage.
So that is 42 days of having the vacuum cleaner and it is no closer to having anything done.

We visited Godfreys Bendigo with a problem with a vac that we recently purchased in Mildura, the young Lady there, I think the manager, was exceptionally helpful and allowed us to take the required parts from their demo machine, how good is that.

If I could zero stars I would. I rang godfreys bendigo looking for some specific VAX bliss 2700 vacuum bags and even gave "kaye" the exact VAX part number I was looking for (27BAGS). She repeatedly interrupted me on the phone and was very short to deal with but assured me that she had what I was looking for and I should come down I get some. I put my 3 month old daughter in the car and travelled 25 minutes to the Bendigo store where 'kaye" handed me bags that would not fit my VAX machine and were made for a far bigger model and were totally different. "kaye" argued with me and was unbeleibaly rude and condescending after I queried why she told me to come down when I had given her my exact machine brand and model number AND the part number for the bags.she told me what she was trying to sell me would fit any VAX machine but its just not the case.she then repeatedly said she cant help me and then walked off on me.if you are going to work in customer service, SERVICE YOUR CUSTOMER and LISTEN. I seriously couldn't have made this transaction any easier or done anymore than what I did to make life the easiest I possibly could for godfreys staff but to no avail.reading other reviews, I can see its not the first time godfreys Bendigo have lied and said whatever they have to say to try to make a sale. I wont be back and neither will my friends and family.

Purchased Hoover Vibra Brush Shampoo cleaner today, there were 2 agents inside. The guy served me and explained what I need and made a choice. Later I asked him about warranty he told me that comes with 2 years warranty. I paid for the goods and later when I came home and opened the product, it says 1 year warranty. I even asked him if I can purchase additional warranty. He insisted it had 2 years. Completely misleading the customer in terms of warranty to sell. Disappointed. Can’t trust anymore. Need to give correct info to the customer.

Went in today a Sunday 2 staff behind the counter one busy serving no hello or acknowledgement that we were there waited while the one not serving was on the computer only to be told we will be served soon we picked up the vacuum box headed to the counter may as well went behind the counter to finish serving ourselves. Service was non existent would hate to be their employer paying them Sunday rates only to be losing customers won’t be back

I came in for a click and collect today only to be greeted so rudely. After checking my ID Sarah asked about my surname and said you don't look like a Donaldson because of "waved her hands around her face. " She continued to ramble along and laughed while I was trying to finish up and leave.
The remark said earlier was very unprofessional and discriminative and to say the least disappointing.
