Food is always delicious. Customer service was Poor this timd
We came to pick up our order.
The lady with chain at front was very rude when I asked for sweets at moment
She asked how much?
I said I am just gonna get few pieces to which she said
Phir ve? “In very rude way, by making frawn face”
I said I am gonna get few pieces not by weight
Then she put Gulabjamun’s with Barfi
To which I replied can you please separate these two
I mean Isn’t obvious for hospitality staff otherwise by barfi will be soggy by the time I rech home

Then again She made a Frawn face and almost threw the other box

I get it. She may be heaving bad day but in Customer service you should keep your problems away and work accordingly.

Her behaviour is completely unacceptable

It was my first time in govinda sweets. Curry was too runny we spoke to the front staff she was wearing something black (pagadi) in the head. She didn't response to us at all seems to be rude. Really bad experience till date lastly the services was late.

Actually you don't deserve 1 star also.

Food is tasty and definitely worth the price. Ambiance is not so calm and rich but that’s the best they could do for that place. Must try items are Paneer Pakora and aloo parantha. Dahi puri is one of the best chat items in Melbourne. Overall experience will be satisfying.

Very bad food quality.ordered 2 plates kulcha and chane.kulcha half side empty and other half over stuffed with patatoes.chane uncooked only ate with gravy.would never go there again.

I am regular food quality is outstanding and thanks for bringing the lassi they forgot to put in delivery but later it was posted within 10 mins

I personally found this place as comfortable as home along with down to earth people serving food:)

Quantity is really more for the price of food. Delicious parathas but for one or two people is too much to have. Delicious sweets and chaat items.

Great food. Very authentic north Indian food with great quality and quantity. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the vicinity.

Best place for vegetarian Indian food. Great authentic Indian cuisine, & lovely staff. I would give it 100 stars if I could.

We tried aloo puri and Chole puri. Chole was so sorry amazing but we didn't not like aloo at all. Otherwise nice staff and quick service.

Decent food and reasonable prices. This is a vegetarian restaurant with plenty of Indian snacks and main dishes. They also have variety of Indian sweets and savory snacks.

Ordered half a kilo of jalebi and half a kilo of mixed barfi - was overcharged but she couldn’t explain why. The jalebi are just one huge squiggle - as you can see it’s the length of the large tray, didn’t work well when we got home and all tried to eat them. Just snapped into sticks and we had to eat it like that. The colour looks ok on the photo but actually they were very pale in real life.

Good food, good vibes and decent price. Most of all the tea is amazing, I'd say probably the best tea I've tried in Melbourne so far. Cheers

Delicious vegetarian Indian dishes to dine in, or sweets to take away. The stuffed parathas are fantastic. Will be back!

Great place for Indian sweets (laddu) and Indian style fast foods. The place is a bit expensive, however, the laddus were really great. We also had the samosa (takeaway) and they were really good as well. Recommended for Indian sweets.

All of their sweets are full of just sugar rather than flavour. I think they putlots of extra sugar just to increase the weight.

Maybe they dont wash their coming utensils properly. I bought a serving of gajar ka halwa and it was stinking of Curry. Other than this, the food was fine and tasted good.

What is wrong with the girl who works at the front man! Seems like she has no energy left to even greet the customers. Customer service is very poor. Food is good though
