Go Ride A Wave - Anglesea

Beginner's session was a really great way to try surfing in a small group, perfect for those with no surfing experience. Our instructor Will was really patient and encouraging and made sure everyone was able to stand up on the board at least a few times, ensuring we all got the most out of the two hour session on beautiful Anglesea beach. Highly recommend if you want to have a go at surfing along the great ocean road!

Had an amazing couple of hours learning at Anglesea this weekend. Xander was full of energy and was really detailed in his instructions and tips. Highly recommend Go Ride A Wave and Xander as an instructor.

Had the best time and already looking at booking another class for next week. She was so attentive and made sure I didn’t give up. Not only did I succeed but I felt sooo proud of myself and doing it right!

Our group of friends had a really fun morning with Go Ride a Wave. Our surfing success was a bit variable, but the instructors were great, the other staff were friendly and everything was very well organised from the booking to the lesson. Would definitely do it again

Nice lesson, though the location could have been better for beginners. Too many rocks and covered in heavy seaweed

Nathan and the team down at Anglesea were caring and provided ample time and advice to ensure my nephew and niece had the time of their lives out in the surf! Both said it was the best day of their holidays

Booked a lesson a few days ago and Jack was our instructor. He was absolutely fantastic and patient. Face planted a few times into the water and the waves were a bit intimidating as a beginner but Jack helped explain techniques and what to watch out for. Defs recommend this place!

Three of my friends and I booked a beginner’s surf class. The instructors were incredible and gave us all the tips to stand up on the board. Couldn’t recommend it more. We will definitely be heading back soon!

Xander and Yousten took great care of us for our first surf lesson in sunny Ocean Grove. Really professional, all equipment provided and good instruction for all members of our group, young and old. Would definitely recommend!

I did a 3-lesson pack over a long week end and by the start of the second day a group of us were up and surfing. The staff were really helpful, fun and eager to get us up and standing. Special shout out to Wes who went over and above to make sure we all had an awesome time.

Matt took our kids for their first ever surfing lesson. He made sure they understood all the safety precautions before getting in the water, and built waves in the sand to demonstrate how to read the waves and find/avoid rips. In the water he was really encouraging, and made sure they all caught heaps of waves. Our boys left super happy and excited about standing up in their first ever lesson. We're grateful for the experience and recommend Matt to anyone looking to learn. Thanks!

Son went for his 1st surfing lesson few days ago, fell down so many times, got to a point even I think it's too difficult, but Dean the instructor keep encouraging him to try few more times, finally he managed to confidently stand on the board, the team also helps on pointing out common beginners' errors etc, we learnt a lot in just 1 lesson! Will come back for more!

I had an excellent time with my instructor, Jack for my first surfing lesson. He was a great teacher, and I already look forward to the next lesson in a few weeks. Well worth the money.
