Go Go Charcoal Chicken

This is my favourite take away charcoal chicken. Always good customer service. Very tasty food. I will highly recommend this Cafe.

This place is the best. Their chips are always perfect and my favourite in the area, delicious flavour in the chicken, and the service is outstanding.

Chicken is often quite dry, everything else is quite nice, but the main ingredient is sub standard.

It takes balls to sell charcoal and fried chicken when The Colonel is your next door neighbour, but Go Go make damn good fried chicken and their chips are always perfect!

Whoever said this place "doesn't give you enough chips" is an absolute liar.

Order a family chips and they prop the box open, and pack it as full as possible. The chips are delectable, crisp, well salted, bursting with flavour and joy. Nothing makes me happier than chips, so that means this place is a heaven for chip lovers across Melbourne. Don't ruin them with the gravy, just bite down on those little crisps of goodness and have yourself a good time.

Very average chicken and chips the quarter chicken and chips was very scabies wasn't even a full quarter and gravy tasted like flour.

Pretty good for a charcoal chicken shop, a touch pricier than one would like for chicken and chips but i cant really fault the food, it's on point.

The chips decent and the seasoning is pretty good.
The chicken is consistent, however consistently dry on the bottom. The rest of it is tender though. So, I'd recommend getting the thigh piece with the drumstick over the breast piece.

I have worked above this Go Gi chicken for 3 years and our whole company always go here. We nearly always choose it over the subway, kfc and hungry jacks because all the salads are made fresh by the owner, the chips come in huge boxes and are delicious and the chicken has never been dry. I also love the gravy and kebabs. It’s a family owned business and has been for many years, very popular with locals.

I love Cindy & her families Charcoal chicken. So much cleaner and fresher than previous owners. All I wanted was some fried chicken n chips with her yummy salads, once I was out from hospital 5*****+ See you soon

Nice flavoured chocken whoch got them to cut into quarters. The chips were cooked fresh, they were hot and crispy and not too much salt on them. Scalloped potatoes were nice flavoured too. Various salads to choose from. Friendly service.

Friendly Staff very clean good variety of food & Drinks.
Have been going there for a few year's now Chicken has always been moist not over cooked have so far never had that dry chicken from them that makes it hard too swallow.
