GMT Lighting

Don't bother ordering from them if you just want one or 2 bulbs. They will happily accept your order even if you pay delivery but then cancel it quoting their "new" policy. What a waste of time.

Ordered a fluorescent light tube. After 3 days I contacted them as I had not (or thought I hadn't. Turns out it went to Gmails spam folder) received any sort of order confirmation email.

I waited about 5 days for a reply but did not receive one so I ended up just purchasing a whole new light (led type) from elsewhere as I needed this light asap and couldn't keep waiting.

A few days later they replied saying they were off on a weeks break and this was the reason for the delay in replying and that the item I had ordered was out of stock. It was NOT marked as out of stock when I placed the order or I would not have ordered it in the first place. Nor was I informed at the time of purchase that there would be a delay in processing the order due to them taking leave for a weak.

So I replied telling them I had already purchased a light from elsewhere and could they please refund me. I got total silence. They just ignored me.

About 3 days later I get an email saying the item had been posted. An item I no longer have a use for because the entire light fitting has been replaced.

So the short of the story is this company is dishonest and once they have your money don't expect good after sales service.

Went to 4 other electrical stores to no avail, but finally made my way to GMT Lighting who did have the globes I was looking for! Great customer service too

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered on 18th June for an "in Stock item" contacted them end of June to ask where items where, told that there were 17 reserved for someone else but was going to send them (which they didnt), called again 4 days later to be told sorry they are busy but will do it next day (express post), called the next day and told product given to someone else and now out of stock, wait till following Monday and will again express post. Got postal notification the next Tuesday and was sent via normal post.very very poor customer service! You cannot do anything about it as they already have your money. Maybe if it was item first then payment their tune might change. Do not recommend this business ever.

The place where you can source light globes no one else has. I was looking for a unique fridge light and this was the only place able to acquire one for me. Prices were decent.

Really helpful staff. Even though they didn't have the part I needed, the lady at the front counter knew the part number off the top of her head and gave me recommendations on how to get it. Fantastic service, thank you.

Whilst collecting an order I observed a demanding customer being particularly unreasonable and difficult. Your staff members were professional and business-like. The service and prices I received were very good - thank you.

GMT Lighting stocked a very hard-to-find light globe at a fair price. Ordering over the phone and being able to pick up the product within the hour from the shopfront was just so easy. Olivia and Terrence were both responsive and helpful.

Packaging was excellent, dispatched same day. Have hard to find globes and great customer service.

Ripped off. The team only sent 1 fitting and clearly had 2 specified on the invoice. When i tried to contact them, they couldn't do anything as i didn't have a photo of the box as i installed the 1 light fitting received. (Yet the photo wouldn't prove anything as a thief would pull one out and then take the photo)

Great products at a very reasonable price and even better customer service. I ordered lights through this company and unfortunately one light had a broken cover. I rang the company and they sent a new light out to me straight away. Couldn't be happier, would recommend this place to anyone:)
