This is the home of my AFL team
The mighty Geelong cats,
Since the renovations the building and the playing field are absolutely magical

Kardinia Park also known as GMHBA Stadiumdue to naming rights, is a sporting and entertainment venue located within Kardinia Park,  South Geelong, in the Australian state of Victoria. The stadium, which is owned and operated by the Kardinia Park Stadium Trust, is the home ground of the Geelong Football Club. The capacity of Kardinia Park is 34,000, making it the largest-capacity Australian stadium in a regional city (i.e, outside a capital city).

A great venue. Went to watch the cricket here. Be warned though, they make you tip out all your water bottles and the line to fill them up again can be quite long.

What a fantastic venue to have right on our doorstep here in Geelong. Whilst there is not a great deal of leg room in the seating it does mean that we get to have fantastic events here in Geelong.
I have watched both the Geelong Cats AFL football and the "Big Bash League" or BBL cricket and both were sensational under the lights.
Depending on where you are sitting you get very different views of the action either down by the fence to get close to the action or up in the 2nd and 3rd tiers of the grandstands to get a better overall view of the action.
Either way you will love it! Get along and have a look!
BTW if you are sitting on the Moorabool street side in the afternoon it is well worth taking a peak cap if the sun is shining to keep the sun out of your eyes.
