Glowgolf and Le Bar Europeen reviews
64Nice indoor mini golf course, all the holes are glow in the dark. The course has an Aussie theme about it including a ute and an outdoor dunnie. At $12 for a round of 18 holes it makes for a reasonable priced outing for the family.
The course its self is quite cool.
Getting a response regarding an enquiry- terrible and the in-house service was abrasive to say the least.
If you don’t like people and cant be pleasant - don’t work in customer service
This was fantastic! Cheap and unique variation on mini golf. Lots of great work went into this. I highly recommend wearing something that will take full advantage of the blacklights! Doesn't matter if you are terrible at golf, there's still lots to see:)
Not sure what I was expecting but more glow would definitely help. I think other reviewers have covered just about all of my concerns which isn't great as it shows not much is changing. Decent pricing at $12 each but certainly not well maintained or monitored, wouldn't return for the same experience as I had it. It would take some serious improvements for me to consider coming back and they have undergone renovations in the last year already.
Everyone who criticised this place probably has no concept of fun. Glowgolf left our group of 6 with no complaints. And only $12! If somebody brought me here for MY birthday, I would propose!
Rubbish throughout course. Clubs were sticky. Noises/atmosphere sounds were not pleasant- one of which was an 8 second audio on repeat of someone using on the toilet - would’ve been better off just having the radio on. Almost every hole there was no barrier so balls were going out into other peoples games. Balls got stuck at several points as course didn’t line up/not properly navigated. Best part was it was only $12 ️
Glow in dark golf is a great concept! However, although there are a select few of the holes that were quite enjoyable, unfortunately most holes suffer from poor lighting and poor design, resulting in an average experience.
Australia's worst mini golf. The holes don't have barriers and your ball flies off into other games. There is no trespassing areas where your ball will fall into, just ignore the signs and terrible crocodile and trespass. *HINT* You will need to use the no trespassing sign as a ramp to get your ball out.there was rubbish everywhere and the final hole, I hit the ball up a ramp. Which flew over the walls and almost hit a kid on the other side. The non exiatant music or (bird noises and waterfall sounds) was horrible and the make it worse. The bar was closed.
My girlfriend dumped me after taking her here for her bday.
The only good thing was the price. $12
Friendly staff and great experience. Cheap and pretty easy to guide yourself around the course, fun activity if you’re around the area.
Australian themed glow in the dark mini golf- a very fun concept and great value.
As for the course itself, the holes are nothing exciting: minimal obstacles and rather easy.
Would recommend as a family spot, the kids will enjoy it.
Took my 8 year old son who loved it. Pretty good value at $12. Much better than Holy Moly on Little Bourke Street
Forgot to take more pictures inside as for my friends and I got excited! It's a good place to have fun (it's located above Skechers in the District Docklands) each person will have their own club and ball (the clubs and the ball are neon in color, also they have short clubs for kids) don't worry about using the clubs and balls, they sanitize them after every use! They will also give you a score card and a pencil. Should also try the smallest bar in Australia (happy hour from 4pm to 6pm drinks for $6) that can accommodate 2 people sitting, 1 standing, and a bartender. Great bonding activity with family and friends
An interesting and fun place, but the owner needs to spend some on its maintenance. Some golf holes were not glowing and were very hard to see in the dark.
I had alot of fun with my family, I'm surprised at how cheap it was to play a round.full 18 holes.the man at the counter was telling us about other places in the center for entertainment and was very friendly.it was like having a personal tour guide.
The concept of glow golf is awesome, but expected a better execution. I think the place is in need of renovations, it was quite hard to see the course, holes and spinner boards. Some holes were extremely easy as well, and it was very crowded so there was often a long wait for the next course (no covid social distancing rules either). Reception would also benefit with some better lighting, the place looked closed when I walked past and it wasn't very inviting. In saying all of that, it was still a fun night and it's extremely cheap to go.
While the experience i had was greqt it was the company i had with me rather than the place.the course is in desperqte need of a pick me up, from shabby decor to very dim uv lighting makes for a difficult time navigating the broken and washed out hole indicators.the clubs are hard to see with no uv reacting paint.this could be a blast but not in the shape it currently is.
Been here a few times now very fun nice staff love the murals and the Australian theme in an 18 hole glow in the dark course
The golf clubs were sticky as they were not cleaned properly. Inside, certain area had music blasting so loudly it hurts the ears. And no social distancing. But here is the thing that irritated us the most. Hole 16 comes before hole 15, and as a result there were much confusion and some impatient players took this opportunity to cut que. This is not how we want our relaxing day off to be! And when we brought this to attention of the attendant, he just say yeah. Overall very very very forgettable experience.
Pretty cool place to hang out with friends who never golfed before as I did.
And the girl at the front desk was very friendly.
Small place but some of them were challenging so it was overall fun, we managed to club the ball in Ned Kelly’s mask in the last hole!
Receptionist Chris was friendly and helpful, we got to store our belongings at reception.
