Glenrowan Caravan and Tourist Park reviews
38Asked for an unpowered sight and got what I think was the best sight in the park. Watched a mob of around 20 kangaroos come down at sun set and set up camp in front of us. Very peaceful place and the owners were great. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic quiet little place.
Friendly staff that know the area really well.
Clean facilities and great cabins.
Can’t wait to come
Back again!
Great caravan and with cabins. We had a 6 person cabin it had all you needed. Clean. With own bathroom. Used the toilet block one and it is lovely and clean. Great place to stay
My partner and I called in after travelling for hours to enquire about staying for one night on a non-powered sight, firstly the owner was Very rude when I asked if there was anywhere we could free camp and was told with anger in her voice that “they’re trying to run a business”
When we explained that we didn’t know about the fee and asked if she knew anywhere we could go and all we got back was attitude. Highly would not Recommend, especially after speaking with a few locals about her constant Terrible attitude and customer service.
2 vans travelling together and we stopped for a quick overnighter. Kylie was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hired a fire pit. Great country outlook. Clean amenities.
Very small sites, rude owner. Toilets not cleaned in the week. Dogs MUST be on lead, at all times. Photos are old, not what park looks like now.
Nice park trip stay overnight. It needs a good TLC. Camping site numbers are missing. Toilets banker are nice and clean.
An out of the way bush caravan park. Sites not level and in no specific rows, so it's pot luck where you park.
Told on the phone to just take a spot and come up later to pay. Very lay back.
It's pretty if you like out of the way places, Lots of birds, butterflies and critters at night.
Love the peaceful surroundings well maintained site. If you have a caravan well this is the place with ample room. Pet friendly also a bonus. The town itself will keep you busy with plenty of very interesting attractions. We will be staying another night.
Good little country Park with heaps of wild life. Sites are a reasonable size. Camp kitchen and ablutions clean and tidy
Simple, clean and tidy Park. Far enough off the road and train line to not be a problem. Great spot to just chill out for the weekend.
We loved our stay here. Kylee was very welcoming. Could not do enough for us.
Very clean amenities & surrounds. We extended our stay as we were enjoying ourselves. Lots to see & do in the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend this park. We will be back. Margaret and Bernie xxx
Quiet, peaceful park with pool kitchen, disabled toilet. Beautiful bush surrounds and only 2kms from Glenrowan
Very quiet and relaxing caravan park.
Only 20min drive to Wangaratta.
Great caravan park with a pool and table tennis table.
Includes bbq facilities that are under cover and good basic toilet and shower facilities.
Just needs a bench or something in the shower to keep clothes off the ground.
Highly recommend and I look forward to coming back in the years to come
This park is a quaint little gem…. Lots of character, well maintained. It is situated out of the way with rolling hills as a back drop…
Friendly owners what’s not to love…
Very friendly owners, nice bush setting, but I think a bit expensive, for what's on offer, same price as other parks with so much more for your money
Very kind and welcoming people, really relaxed atmosphere and the pool was nice, only staying one night but should have stayed longer and will next time. Highly recommend thanks.
Didn't stay, but owner Kylie kindly allows birdwatchers to visit even when they're not staying for a small fee. Loved the Turquoise Parrots and Bee Eaters this time, always so good for birds! Thanks again!
The park was such a welcome refuge from a chaotic world. Kylee is lovely to talk and interact with, the birds are amazing (saw a pair of Turqoise parrots) and I was able to work from the camper hotspotting my phone. When I needed a break, I grabbed the dog and headed up the hill directly behind and we got excited by the kangaroos and swamp wallabies - the dog perhaps more so than me! We will be back
