Enjoyed a casual glass of wine and bowl of fries on the tranquil garden. Very relaxed winery. Welcomed our little doggy too.

We have now dined twice at Le Bouchon - both times were excellent! Great food, great wines and great service.
A bit of the way, but totally worth the journey!
Highly recommend Attwoods Wines.

Le Bouchon restaurant at Attwoods Wines in Glenlyon is a rare gem in the Victorian countryside which has it all. It's small and intimate in a very picturesque and relaxed country setting, with warm and friendly service, truly delicious food, and premium tasting wines that you'd normally go searching for in major wine regions and in hatted city restaurants.

We've enjoyed many wonderful lunches and afternoons here during our day trips from Melbourne, or when staying in nearby Daylesford or Ballarat for the weekend, and we're really looking forward to many more of these in the future.

The chef’s menu was delicious from entree to dessert. The wine matching was perfect and helped in choosing what to take home from the cellar door. A must for anyone who appreciates exceptional wine, delicious food and welcoming service in a beautiful location. Will be back for next months menu.

Fantastic cellar door experience in a beautiful spot. The dining room, bar, shady outdoor tables and view were perfect and the food with matched wines was even better. Go just for the luxurious miso caramel chocolate tart with decadent vanilla ice cream. Yum. The wines were spot on too. Troy, Jane and their team will make you feel right at home and send you away with a lovely happy glow

Brilliant, brilliant restaurant and winery. Exquisite Modern French Food paired with exquisite wines - what on earth are you waiting for? Book now before you can't get in. It is simply the Best Find in this part of Victoria - worth every penny and then some - should get 6 stars!

What an amazing winery well deserved awards, the food is above and beyond to most wineries, sleek and classy without being over the top, the wines is the same, classic, bold letting the wine and produce speak….

The venue is great, awesome views, great casual environment with sophistication and elegance without making you feel as if your paying for a huge fit out…. Love this place and cannot recommend enough, it will exceeded your expectations by far

Absolutely fantastic wines and staff. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Exceeded all expectations. Had set menu lunch and a wine tasting. Ended up with 7 bottles. Food was 10/10 and wines 11/10.

Absolutely mind blowing experience. We were not expecting such a high level of food and wine from this hidden gem. Also never experienced a tasting menu where every wine was too good to pass up - ended up walking away with a bottle of each variety to take home. Very passionate and knowledgable people. The set menu food and wine pairing made us reconsider our approach to wine. Wonderful flavours and texture, delicious french-inspired food. Beautiful grounds and stunning views, kangaroos too! We will be back.

Had lunch at this winery on the weekend. Great location and views. If you are vegetarian don't bother going for lunch. It was overall very disappointing. The first course was good but it was all downhill after that, with a plate of corn and then some very uninspiring pasta with a hint of tomato on it. Definitely not worth the cost of the meal. We wont be returning.

Went with friends for lunch on Sunday. Gorgeous property with terrific food and wine. Troy the owner was very informative about the wines spending time to discuss the different varietals. The set lunch was delicious and very good value.

Wow what a great place for lunch. Exceptional french inspired food and great paired wines from Attwoods. Despite the stormy spring weather we felt very snug in the dining room. Our international friends loved seeing the kangaroos in the paddock from the lunch table. A real treat all round. Thank you to the hosts Jane and Troy Walsh for a great afternoon in Glenlyon.

So rare to have your expectations exceeded.
The whole experience in divine.
The beautiful dining room, the landscaped grounds, terraced gardens, rolling hills and the food! The best dining experience in ages.
Be prepared for flavour, lots of it. We could have started again after the best value 4 course lunch, not because we were hungry but because we didn't want it to end.
Troy and Jane are fun and welcoming hosts who bring a slice of France to picturesque Glenlyon. Cant wait to return.

Interesting, delicious wines in a beautiful setting. The tasting charge seems to be a bit variable but the Pet Nat was a standout!

We met the new owner at the cellar door and he explained that the winery had changed hands 18 months ago and after some refurbishment, the cellar door was re-opened just before Xmas 2019. So take the older, poor reviews on this place with a grain of salt.
The $10 tasting fee was redeemable on purchase of a bottle of their wine.
Very knowledgeable and easy-going staff who know their stuff and are passionate about the wine they sell. A serene and beautiful setting. We'll be back!
