Stayed in Nissen Hut for 2 nights, wish we could extend our stay the moment we arrived at the property. Apart from nesting in its beautiful surroundings, the interior decor, comfort, maintenance & cleanliness are top-notch as well. Owners are very thoughtful in preparation for guests’ arrival and we truly felt welcomed. The well-stocked kitchen, fruit basket & complimentary port wine, just to name a few.

Special mention for the extremely clean and luxurious the bathrooms, its a shame we rarely come across such well-kept bathrooms in 5-star properties nowadays.

Glenlowren is a country oasis. Surrounded by a sense of solitude and getting in touch with the nature that surrounds it, it is a peaceful retreat if you want to get away from the bustle of a busy life.

The Nissen Hut is truly a very well-appointed luxury accommodation. It is as cosy & welcoming as a home, but the decor, colour scheme & finishing touches gives a sense of splendor.

For city dwellers, this get-away is more than delightful and honestly, what we needed for the mind and soul.
To be in the middle of picturesque views and sounds of nature, it is the perfect change of scenery.

Staying in the Nissen Hut was magical! It was such a beautiful setting and the accomodation was gorgeous! Tinne was lovely and very accommodating. Perfect for a cold, winter weekend as it was nice having the fire going and enjoying ourselves with good food and wine. Would definitely stay here again if coming back to the Yarra Valley.

The accomodation was wonderful, even better than expected from the photographs! Perfect for two couples, the Nissen hut was eloquently presented, impeccably clean and abundantly stocked with utensils and breakfast produce.

What a wonderful slice of heaven in the Yarra Valley. My family of 20 all came together at this venue as a reunion (post COVID) and to celebrate a 60th birthday. The Homestead was so well thought out and beautifully presented and had everything you could think of for a stay. My whole family had such an amazing time together, helped by being in a space that was warm, comfortable and inviting. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone that will listen. Absolutely Amazing! We were in the YV for a wedding and needed accommodation for a family of 20. We booked The Farmstead and it exceeded our expectations, plenty of space and privacy. The rooms and facilities were excellent and had everything we needed for adults and kids. Big Thank you to Tinne, Pieter and staff, you made us feel very welcomed and the kids loved the farm animals. Great memories and we look forward to coming back.

Tinne and Pieter were wonderful hosts. Their property is amazing and our entire family had the most relaxing stay. We will be back!

The Cottage still holds beautiful memories for me even though it’s been a few months since our stay. Warm, spacious, comfortable, private, peaceful are just some of the memories. We will definitely be back.

Absolute gem tucked away from any hustle and bustle. Beautifully landscaped farmland with relaxing gardens. We stayed in the cottage and it was splendid. The owners have thought of all of the final touches to make the stay amazing. It was also probably the cleanest place that I have stayed in. Not to mention the beautiful view of the wetlands that you wake up to in the morning. Definitely recommend!

Amazing location on the large property. Everything was perfect with the accommodation. Wood fire, snug beds and great kitchen. Clean and tidy as the best luxury hotel

My husband and little baby just stayed 2 nights at Glenlowren. We had the most wonderful time. The land that the cottage is situated on is so well kept, the cottage itself is beautiful! So clean and has so much charm and character. Our little babe is crawling, so staying at a property that is safe and clean is so important and Glenlowren had this in spades. Little miss was able to explore and really enjoy herself too! There is a large window in the lounge overlooking the fields and cows came up to the fence, our little girl loved it. An incredibly functional kitchen that has been stocked with local produce (fresh milk, juice, eggs, tomatoes, honey and more). A huge bathroom with spa bath and large shower and a really well sized bedroom with luxurious bed sheets and a stunning view of the lake. So picturesque and beautiful. We spent time outside on our picnic rug soaking up the views and then walked around the property. We saw chickens, cows, sheep and horses (amazing!), we frolicked through the gardens as there are so many beautiful trees and flowers and then through the owners veggie patch. So incredibly cool. The property is so close to everything the Yarra Valley has to offer! We went to the Yarra Valley Dairy, Healesville Sanctuary, a number of wineries for lunch and dinner. We had such a special time. Thank you to the owners for having us, we would highly recommend and will be organising not only to stay again but for family to stay too! Take Care!

The perfect place to relax and get away from it all! We just loved our stay at Glenlowran. It was delightful! The attention to detail of all that we might need was wonderful. The cabin was sparkling clean and the views out each window were so lovely. We would recommend staying at Glenlowran to everyone! Treat yourself! You won’t regret it!

We have stayed at Glenlowren twice now. Besides being a stunning location, what really won me over was how peaceful and quiet it was! Such a relaxing experience away from our busy year. The owners are kind and helpful. The cottages clean and well maintained. It is located within a few minutes from local wineries and walking trails as well.

We had an excellent stay at the Cottage at Glenlowren. The deck facing the lake and surrounds was our favourite. The breakfast produce provided was perfect. The cottage was comfortable and rustic yet still equipped with luxuries like bathroom floor heating, heated towel rack, dishwasher, big shower and nice kitchen. We'd highly recommend

Beautiful property & cottage. So cosy and wholesome. My favourite part was sitting on the deck overlooking the lake & listening to all the wildlife.

We stayed with another couple at the Nissen Hut for an overdue catch up and rest. It's beautiful, serene, and peaceful. The attention to detail is impeccable and location great; surrounded by award winning wineries, and gorgeous farm land.

My husband and I stayed here for the long weekend and we had such a fun and relaxing time. Tinne & Peter were very welcoming and the place was very clean and tidy. We also had a little furry friend visit us at our front porch one morning for pats! Such a beautiful place! We’d love to be back again one day.

We managed to get away for a magical few days here. Some friendly dogs keen to make friends with children (and a few curious pigs and cows nearby too!). We found a tiny frog living in the shower, the kids were delighted. Very cute. I did migrate it elsewhere though since we weren't sure how it would tolerate the water temperatures of a shower. Yarra Glen Chocolaterie and Healesville nearby, convenient. All beautiful. Loved it.

Just heavenly, it's hard to explain a place so beautiful and peaceful, you will have to visit to experience it, I definitely recommend this place!
