Glendale Aged Care

Maria I believe her name is, was extremely rude to me as walking in. I normally wait 5 minutes max with the nurse out the front for the covid test to come back negative. Today no nurse was there waiting out the front so I did it myself, I waited 2-5 min utill I saw it was a clear negative, then tried walking in. She stopped me and had the rudest tone ever saying “you didn’t wait 10 minutes go back out there” I know she’s trying to do her job but if she just said it in a friendly tone I would of been more than happy to wait the full 10 min. I went back to the front and another nurse was there waiting for his results to come back. I was there for another minute when he just told me to go in because no one ever waits 10 min. Once I walked in she said “you need to sign in” in a very angrier tone, I told her not to speak to me in that tone and she shut right up.

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel towards Allity as a company after my experience with Glendale aged care. As soon as you walk into Glendale, you can feel that it is a home. The place has such a lively atmosphere and incredible staff always around to assist. It has relieved a lot of my worries knowing my aunt is in good hands.

This is an amazing place if you’re looking to place your loved one into care. Staff work hard to ensure the best care possible is being delivered to their consumers. With management always available to assist, it lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders when my grandfather was admitted. The staff were amazing to my whole family after my grandfather had passed and I want to give a special thanks to management who were a great support to me and my family, making the whole situation so much easier. I highly recommend Glendale to anyone out there needing the right support for your loved one and their family too.

This is a worst place to leave your elderly, especially because they are always short on staff and my mother told me that the new management is quite rude. The staff caring for my mom was very nice and tries to deliver excellent care but their management often cut staffing to save cost. There are these people Merrin, Stenphson, mihi and patricia.as they are extremely rude on approach and as described by one of the staff their they often made fun of staff's health if they call sick for a shift and even expect staff to work still being unwell. Instead of hiring new staff and hiring good management people they just try to save their cost and enforce staff to work short and under stress.

Wonderful staff, always going above & beyond. Excellent management of all the Covid-19 restrictions, which I’m sure were extremely difficult times. Keep up the great work! It is very much appreciated.

Was really concerned about Aged Care but I have to say Glendale has been fantastic. My mother is so happy, there are great outdoor area's, close to plaza and a great cafe. Staff and manager are both happy to help, manager is very approachable. We are really happy and mum is so content.

Wonderful caring staff, always put the clients needs first. We have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of staff always on duty. Cafe is a huge hit with family & friends.

Staff are excellent - if they keep their jobs its all about cost cutting and staff are being cut all the time. Manager is arrogant and not at all approachable has no clue. I wouldn't recommend Glendale or Allity to anyone its all about the money not about the people.

Great facility. Fantastic staff, always smiling and doing their jobs to the max. Keep it up guys, your the best!

They should have after hours phone number, tried to ring them to let them know, that mum was taken to a doctor for very high blood pressure and taken to hospital. There suppose to be a doctor there, why do we have to run around ourselves take her to the doctor, they should check her blood pressure and urine test as she gets lots of infection, nothing gets done if we don’t address it. Not happy at all the way they look after their aged care

Glendale has done a very good job, looking after my ill Mother. Up to the day she passed away. Thank You, from John L & Family.

Sad to see the elderly go to waste in here. My grandfather being one of them. It really breaks my heart

Very understaffed. Felt sorry for the PCA staff, run off their feet. Management presence non existent. Very hard to get in touch with management, always put off, on the phone, told too busy. Have to make an appt. Very disappointed

We looked at a number before deciding on Glendale 18 months ago. Have never regretted our decision. We have yet to meet an unpleasant staff member, from cleaner, carer, nurse, kitchen staff to management type. Facilities are great, even a cafe and an aviary. Activity groups and external bus visits are popular.

Disgusting, majority of healthcare staff and management have bully mentality and the business cut cost any chance they get

Wonderful premises with really lovely staff who go out of their way to make a homelike feeling. They even have a fireplace going during winter in the main room! Great security as well.
