Glen Waverley North Reserve reviews
26Big and beautiful neighbourhood park. Large areas with footpath/walking trails on all sides. Such a large reserve in the middle of a residential neighbourhood. This can serve all the purpose for all ages - single, family, young, or elderly. You want to have a walk, come here. Want to do a quick family BBQ? You have a shaded BBQ area with a drinking water tap. Big grounds for cricket or tennis. Large walking/running ground for dogs. Quite a few activities for the small kids and parents, including slides, swing, flying fox, and a few exercise equipment. All surrounded by mature trees and green grass. There are enough parking spaces around the reserve and toilets near the cricket ground. Highly recommended!
Nice place: children playground, basketball court, football oval, under-cover barbecue, off-leash area for dogs. Unfortunately there is no public toilet.
This is my local park and it fills all my needs. The neightbour hood is so chill i know a ton of people here.
This is a great, upgraded playground with two flying foxes, a swing, a swing for adult and baby, small slides and some usual climbing equipment. There's a basketball court nearby, and the local tennis club as well. Plenty of shade. Heaps of parking around the cricket pavilion. Lots of fun!
Great little playground with a small basketball court, two flying foxes (not the fastest), some climbing structures and two swings.
Amazing playground which isnt too small or too big.can easily keep an eye on kids from all places. Kids love the flying fox. Has a basketball area and a small covered shed for parties etc
Nice little playground and I love it. Good area for sport on the grass and kids can play in the playground. BBQ place is in place as well as car park
Lovely reserve - grass is always trimmed and it is partially fenced off. Fenced off to roads but not car park area. Make sure your dog is trained for recall!
There are lots of small dogs that come here too
Access to basket ball backboard, bbq + roofed eating area, grassed areas, play ground equipment as well as oval + cricket nets. Friendly people use this space.
Really nice reserve with a well kept oval one end, a cute little play ground and even some park land. Leash free for dogs away from the playground. Oval is mostly fenced off from the road so it’s a great area for dogs to play. There’s also an undercover bbq area and a brick wall for practicing ball games. Short walk to willow road shops for a coffee and to glendal primary school for an after school play. So lucky to have so many nice parks in the area. Highly recommended.
Great are for the family with a flying fox, playground, BBQ area, basketball and netball as well as a large oval.
Lovely little park, the children's playground is a personal highlight with the sort of flying fox thing. Great fun all the time for the gf and i.
Great view of the sunset from this reserve. The area is big and great fun for people of all ages with a playground, basketball court, cricket pitch, flying fox, barbecue area etc.
Great park with shade and basket ball court but annoying the toilets were locked! Where.are the kids meant to go?
Very good reserve with Cricket Nets, footy/ foot ball/ cricket ground, basket ball court, Tennis practice wall and a fairly new play gym with zip liners.
Great park for kids to run around. Play equipment is new since 2020 and has a shade cloth covering it. Quiet streets surround it and it is a off leash park, except for any sporting games and around the kids play area.
Nice area with multiple facilities such as basketball court, batting cage, picnic area and the oval. The only thing that stopped me giving it 5 stars is they don't clean up the grass cuttings after they cut the oval so if you're training on the oval after they cut it you'll get grass all over you and your equipment as well as hayfever.
Good for kids - it has a swing, tennis wall, basketball loop, kids play station, cricket nets next to it, a rope sliding swing, lots of open area and less than 3 mins drive to The Glen mall. Haven't used ever but I think there's toilet next to cricket nets.
A nicely kept park with a wide variety of play facilities to use. Nice basketball hoop and playground. The barbecue area is also a very nice addition for family outings.
