Glen Isla House

The hosts Evie and Richard were outstanding. Helpful when needed and invisible when not needed. The suite was well appointed and decorated. The 24 hour stay was superb.

My wife and I celebrated our 32 wedding anniversary and I couldn't have chosen a better place to do that. Richard and Evie went out of their way to made us feel welcome. The room was immaculate, a beautiful garden and a 2 minute walk from the beach. Exellent breakfast. Richard you and Evie made it a memorable anniversary for us. You'll definitely see us again in the near future.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst on holiday with the family. My first time in Australia and can not recommend this place enough. The location is perfect with only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk into town. It’s lovely and quiet so no noise to keep you up at night! The owners were amazing very friendly and always available should you need anything and happy to recommend places to visit whilst on Phillip island. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was stunning and was enough to see you through till dinner time. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting a visit to the island you will not be dissapointed

One of the best places I have stayed on holiday. Lovely, quaint accommodation in a fantastic location. Short walk to the beach and close by to all the main shops. The owners are amazing, and catered so well us in the mornings with lovely service and breakfasts, including for gluten free.

Fabulous luxury accommodation, great location, perfect breakfast and wonderful hosts. We will definitely visit again and recommend to everyone we know

Richard and Yvonne are a lovely couple. The rooms are of 5 star quality and have been tastefully decorated.
Cute boutique Bnb in superb area highly recommend staying a night or two.

Beautiful cosy place where you feel in another reality. The hosts are lovely people that you feel like you are visiting friends. Rooms are spotless and perfectly set up.

Well maintained. Richard was friendly and hospitable and of a pleasant & gentle demeanour.
Breakfast provided was a good spread of cold cuts, toast, jam & butter, cereal etc.my favourite was the vegetable fritters! Yum!
Room was a good size and had charging device with 2 USB ports and fast charging deck. Yay!
Also a box of my fav Guylian chocs n petite bottle of wine.
Nice touches everywhere.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Glen Isla house over the queens Birthday long weekend. Hosts Richard and Evie were an absolute delight, nothing was too difficult and they attended to our every need. The accommodation itself is in a very quiet location, just a short stroll to cafes and restaurants on the main street. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could want with big comfy beds and all the required amenities such as extra towels and pillows, tea and coffee making facilities in each room, and refrigerator and gorgeous vies of the surrounding gardens. The only complaint I could possibly have was that we only stayed there for 1 night, and it was far too short. Breakfast on the morning of checkout was simply delicious. Thanks Richard & Evie, my wife and I will definitely be coming back!

Glen Isla House was the perfect place to help us celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Evie and Richard were excellent host providing us with warm and friendly service. Our room was luxurious, very comfortable bedding, lovely bathroom, attention to detail was first class. We were surrounded by beautiful gardens and a short distance from the beach. The dinningroom was beautifully displayed with lovely furnishings cosy open fire, with a continental breakfast fit for a king. To add to the wonderful ambience we had little Buddy to welcome us in the mornings. We would most certainly recommend this beautiful place. Drew and Maria

My wife and I stayed for two nights mid week and had a pleasant and relaxing stay.
I had made a mistake and we had turned up a day earlier than our booking.
Evie, one of the owners, went out of her way to accomodate us, even though they we almost fully booked, by shifting a few things around so we could stay.
This is a lovely BnB with beautiful, well maintained gardens featuring century old oak trees. Located near to the beach, it is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The owners/hosts Evie and Richard are attentive, friendly and hospitable and certainly make you feel at home.
Highly recommended.

Glen Isla House is of an exceptionally high standard in every possible way. Richie and Evie the hosts made our visit so memorable. The standard of the accommodation was excellent, as was the delightful breakfast in the dining room and the gorgeous gardens and close proximity to the beach. Peaceful, beautiful surrounds made our stay magical. The hosts are very thoughtful and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed with walk-in robes and ensuites. Small touches made us feel special. The breakfast room is gorgeous and continental breakfast is delicious with lots of food to choose from. Overall a wonderful stay and we can't wait to go back!

Stayed here a bit by accident after coming in very late at 1am. Absolutely gorgeous spot, and the attention to detail has really been placed high here. Would recommend and look forward to returning where we can enjoy it properly!

Stayed here one night and loved it. Wished we could stay more. Clean, quiet, and unique. And Ian was such a welcome and warm host!

Will definitely come back next time we stay in Phillip Island

From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. The property was well presented and comfortable. All necessities were provided!
Upon check in Madeline spent some time taking us through different places to eat and things to do on the island. This was a fantastic stay from us newly-weds. We thank Ian and Madeline for their hospitality.

We stayed 2 nights at Glen Isla House and wish we could have stayed longer, it was so quiet and peaceful.
The beach was less than 5 minutes away.
Our host Ian was very helpful and even drove us back to the bus stop on the afternoon we left.
Hope to come back soon.

We couldn't recommend Glen Isla strongly enough - a beautiful heritage property with luxurious rooms, lovely gardens, and a back exit leading to the beach. The most memorable part of our stay was the absolutely fabulous service; we were helped by owner Ian who was incredibly welcoming, kind and gave us plenty of great local recommendations. We felt so at home and cared for during our stay and hope to return soon.
