GL ProSound

Terrible experience with GL Pro, had a full sound system installed earlier in the year, faced multiple issues with a Kayhan headunit in my fg, then got a refund and got a Aerpro kit installed with a Kenwood Headunit, and i have had issues since March, including my heater not blowing heat after 10-15 minutes, i then brought my car back to get this sorted, Adam said he would order a new facia kit, i then was waiting over 4-5 weeks for this i chased them up about this, and i was then told by Daniel that it was NEVER ordered he then placed the order which was a 2-3 week wait, then they finally changed my facia kit, but only the module behind (not the wiring), the issue of my heating not working correctly was still present and i noticed a "system comms error fault" on my dash and my headunit and heating were all turning off and on randomly, i then noticed that one of the workers had broke one of the clips of the facia which holds the tissue compartment and i wasnt told about this, I then brought this issue up with Daniel and he didnt seem to care much and just overlooked it, I then went back to them to try get this heater and system error sorted, he said he was going to get an "aerpro rep" to look at this issue which he never did, he then claimed that he was going to "reprogram the facia and try update the facia" which never happened, At this point it had been over 3 months of trying to deal with an issue of the facia that they installed, and they still couldn't sort it out for me, Daniel then recommended for me to install my factory headunit to see if the errors were still consistent to determine if it was an issue with the facia, turns out that all the problems went away and everything was working correctly, but that doesnt solve my issue of not having carplay and bluetooth, Turns out now if i want a new aerpro unit in my car that i would "have to pay them to install it" which i wont be doing, they also cut up half of the wiring on my Aerpro facia making it useless, and when i called daniel up to discuss this, he then told me to wait 3-4 weeks before there new shop is open to get any of this fixed, so ill have to sort this issue myself elsewhere, Turns out the whole reason nothing worked is because they squished all the cables behind the headunit, making wires short circuit leading to nothing functioning, they did a very poor install with my amp wiring, earthing points wernt done correctly and just slopped together, amps cutting in and out due to incorrect fuze size, power wires were not correctly installed, as well as they didn't wire up my speakers correctly and just bypassed factory wiring, Daniel didnt want to issue me a refund till i began to take it further which was going to result in going to VCAT, but Daniel decided to refund me after 1-2 months of going back and forth. After 6+ months of messing around with this business, Very disappointed with GL

I ordered a substantial amount of car audio equipment for my next install and the process was easy and efficient.

The order was interstate however it arrived after only to days after placing the request which was awesome

Items were delivered in perfect order and were well packed.

You can search the web as much as you like but I doubt you’ll find a better price with such excellent service.

Daniel and Adam were really helpful with providing advice and organising my focal bomba20 sub - they've actually installed the products they sell so can detail benefits and what works in particular scenarios (I rang around extensively before ordering and many places had nil experience with this sub despite having it for sale).

I felt advice was solid and objective, they weren't pushy for a sale and when I went to pick up the item Daniel talked me through some tuning options and offered for me to drop back in once I was set up to help check the sound - who else does that?

I've given 5/5 due to the top notch customer service and I highly recommend GL ProSound.

Customer service is horrible.
Initial install had to wait 3 hours after scheduled pickup time because of faults on their behalf. Blown faults ect.
Chased up with sales team for tuning of speakers monthly (for 7 months) still no tune done. Was told parts would be installed to compete the initial job to what I wanted. After 7 months of dealing with sales finally get put onto the owner, now I'm told no refund will be issued in any way whatsoever because its been so long. Apparantly is my fault I havent complained enough.
Sales does not corroborate anything I've said in the past.
No record of previous complaints.
No way to prove anything I have c9mpalined about has happened because of sales manager "Adam"
I look and feel like an idiot.
Absoloutly do not go with these guys.

GL set up a boardroom conferencing facility at my office. The equipment looks fantastic and the service was second to none. Daniel even came out to my office to ensure it was set up correctly. This new set up has set my business a part from the competition. Cannot recommend highly enough.

They are fully set up to add to your vehicle anything you can imagine and they also do Home Theatre so if you are wanting some sensational upgrades or even a start up package for your home, then these guys can set you up no problem. Their products are second to none and sound and visual quality is right on point.
