G.J. Gardner Homes Warrnambool

We finished our new home build in Narrawong with GJ Gardner Warrnambool in July 2023. Other than a few problems with build managers early on (who subsequently left the franchise) we had a excellent experience from start to finish. Andrea and Ollie were brilliant with assisting us to pick and modify a design that suited our needs and budget and Christine was amazing throughout the whole journey. She was extremely responsive and looked after us so well, both in terms of helping us with colour choices and following up any concerns along the way. Jim our build manager who stepped in for the final half of the build, did an incredible job organising tradespeople and with finishing off the build. His experience really made the difference and we are so impressed with the final result! I would highly recommend this franchise if you are looking to build. We have seen their extremely high standards first hand and I can’t fault the quality of every part of our house. I’m also so impressed with their honesty- picking up on a few small details we hadn’t even noticed until they drew our attention to it and electing to replace them at significant cost to the franchise (some very small scratches to windows caused by the cleaners at the end). We pinch ourselves every time we see our beautiful home. Thank you to GJ Gardner Warrnambool!

My new home was completed in Warrnambool this year.   After a 2.5-year delay with my land titling due to the Covid outbreak.   I felt disheartened and defeated.   My Contract Manager Chris Hoey from the Warrnambool office of GJ Gardiner was amazing, she prepared everything she could to be ready for the day the land titled.   Chris was prudent with the spending and communicated with me at every stage.   She provided fantastic advice on my choices on fixtures and fittings.   When the land titled, I was amazed at the speed of the build, in such a short time I had a frame on a slab, and I could see progress on every weekly visit.   Every tradesman and Foreman Jim was polite, and I was impressed by the workmanship.   During my progress inspection, I noticed that a few power points were roughed in at the wrong position, by my next visit they were corrected.   GJ Gardiner were flexible, I was able to change their standard plans and create an Airbnb suite at the back of my house.   They had great finishes to choose from and when my house was completed, my family and friends were stunned at how amazing my house looked.   My photos on Facebook had not done it justice.   When I walked into my brand-new home, it was spotless, Chris had organised a gourmet hamper for me, which was exactly what I had needed after a long day of packing.   For me it was all about the details, the communication and the execution of the work as per the contract.   It had all fallen into place.   I cannot fault them, compared to the display houses I had seen, my house is of a much higher standard.   If you’re looking to build, consider Andrew and his team from Warrnambool.   They are consummate professionals.   I have no hesitation in recommending them to build your dream home. Bravo.

12 Months in our "dream" home and the movement, cracking and sinkage is unacceptable.
Once Andrew has your money, he doesn't care. We have had to finish numerous issues ourselves, even though we forked out $400K for the build. Shonky builder.

From start to finish building my first ever home with GJ Gardner Warrnambool was the best! Erin and her team were dedicated and so helpful and supportive. Erin’s knowledge and eye for detail helped me in getting the home I’ve always wanted. Building Supervisor Jim was great to work with and really looked after me and the construction of my home. Very happy with the finished product, quality and whole building experience.

Erin King & the team we’re nothing short of magic when we were in the proceedings to build our home. Erin went above & beyond all our expectations, has a great personality, very fun & bubbly & we just know she will have an incredible career, The team at G. J Gardner Warrnambool are very lucky to have such an enthusiastic member on their team.

Amazing help and very responsive to any queries. Erin King, sales consultant great personality and is very easy to talk to and will give you exactly what you want. Jim Hoey, foreman, has an eye for the smallest of detail, very friendly, always up for chat and was happy to take us through our new house anytime we wanted, Chris Hoey, admin, was amazingly helpful and has a great eye for decor, Chris was always keen for a chat and one of the friendliest people ive met.

Thanks Andrew and the crew for the amazing and non stressful experience of building our beautiful home. Absolutely love it.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for for the build of their new home. I’ll be coming back for our next one that’s for sure.
