G.J. Gardner Ballarat

Before joining with GJ Gardner I was actually signed on with another builder (whose name I won't mention). It was my first time building a home and having had no experience, I trusted the previous builder blindly. I later found out that I was serenely being misguided, provided exorbitant quotes for things when eventually I broke the contract with them, losing the initial deposit of $2500.

I was so confused about what to do until a friend recommended GJ Gardner. From my first experience at the display homes, interacting with Gina I found them to be very helpful. They weren't pushy with getting a customer, they were respectful and polite. The entire experience has been very smooth, I got weekly updates when the construction was happening, the admin team were so wonderful in answering all of my small and big questions. It was a long process because I had to wait approximately 2 years for the land to be titled. Regardless, the entire team was incredibly patient and kept me in the loop with everything that was happening.

A special shoutout to Mitch, my build supervisor who was amazing at sending those weekly photos and text updates. As recently has 3 days ago, he came down himself to sort a few minor issues which he didn't have to do. The minor issues that I had came from GJ Gardner working full steam ahead to meet my request of the handover date (a few days earlier than what was initially agreed to), which meant that the house was 99.999999% done. I wasn't fussed about this because I trusted GJ Gardner, and knew they would rectify any issues that I found!

Overall, I would highly recommend this builder!

Gj Gardner homes Ballarat have built us two houses now, both being fantastic quality and value for money. The team from sales through to the office, site supervisors and trades are all very efficient at their assigned roles. Communication is excellent, and you can tell they genuinely care about giving you a house you will love. They are very transparent with costs, and trustworthy. If we chose to build again we would choose them for a third time!

GJ Gardner Ballarat have been wonderful to deal with through every step of the building process.

We approached GJ Gardner Ballarat to build our new 2 million dollar custom house. The sales experience and lady we were dealing with were amazing and all seemed fantastic but when we sent in our plans, we were told the franchise owner didn’t want to build our home because our Architecht was attached to our project. These types of builders evidently don’t like Architects because they can’t get away with cutting corners. Anyway, we went with another builder but if you have a custom home, don’t bother with this company! Their spec homes are awful anyway
We were going to sign with them!

As first-home builders the communication throughout the process from Rob and the staff helped to make the task a lot less daunting. They made time for us whenever we needed it and were always happy to answer any question that we asked.

The team at GJ Gardner have been an absolute delight to correspond with for the initial stages of building our first Family home. The progress already has been a prompt and stress free experience. From the bubbly David and Jordan at the Lucas display home welcoming us with such expertise on a variety of options to Kelly, Leah and the girls in the office who have gone far and beyond to finalise everything. It honestly has been such a hassle free few months and would recommend highly.
