Gippsland Vehicle Collection reviews
42It was really good. January 2024 they had old cars and bikes and model cars and bike. I thought I knew all the cars but they had another brand and all in good condition. Next month I think it might be the 70's to 80's model cars. With out a doubt have a look.
What a treat in the middle of nowhere! They change the theme every 4 month to keep you from getting bored and the cafe looked great!
Super spot to loose a few hours, easily, and there is a great outside area for the ladies to relax while the big boys loose themselves in a world of cars!
Fun day out! The display is changed regularly during the year so it's good to do additional visits to see the various themed displays.
The vehicle collection is a wonderful way to spend some time when in Maffra. It's not so expensive to enter that you feel like you need to spend a lot of time there. It's a very worthwhile detour from the highway. The collection changes regularly so repeat visits are rewarded
10aud Entrance fee is worth every penny to see collectible cars. I call it heaven if you’re a car enthusiast. The staffs are amazing! Thank you for letting me experience sitting in a combie.
A surprisingly great exhibition of cars and motorcycles. There were also many displays of other automotive items. The model car display was a feature. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Very good museum with changing displays through the year. Well worth a visit. Just came for a visit for the second time and still well worth a visit. Change of exhibits and plenty of vehicle related items in the gift shop.
This shed is run by a group of enthusiasts who work together to present unique cars and motorcycles from around Australia. There is also a section containing miniature models for those who are keen.
I was told that the collection changes every quarter as most of the vehicles are in working condition and still being used by their respective owners. Well worth stopping by for automotive fans of all ages.
Great stewards and members, lovely collection, exceptionally maintained, especially given its a volunteer based museum.
Great display of all sorts of old vehicles. I spent several hours there, one of the staff walked with me and explained the history and significance of many of the cars, motorbikes, and the model car display. Highly recommended, and only $10 for seniors. Caravan parking available.
We were lucky that a big group was going through on a day that would normally be closed and could go through. Great display and staff very friendly.
Great collection! Took our young boys down, they loved looking at the HUGE collection of model cars
For a small town. This place was excellent, a good collection of Cars, Bikes & Models.
Have followed and read a lot about this museum on Facebook. A great collection of vehicles, motorcycles and supporting material that is well laid, interesting and informative. Staff well very helpful and enthusiastic and it was well worth the visit. A must see if you are in the area.
This is a great car museum because they change their displays constantly, the current display of British sports cars and Italian Cars has some real jems in it. Come back in 6 months and it will be a completely different display. Run by very friendly volunteers, worth a stop.
A stunning and well maintained display that's regularly changed and reshuffled.
Well worth a repeat visit.
I think the $15 entry fee per person is expensive, especially when you pay for 2 people. One gentleman was very knowledgeable and spent a bit of time talking to us. Might be worth a visit when the Italian cars go on display though.
$15 entry goes a long way to help support this place so was happy to pay it, great reminder of how hard it was back in the day to maintain cars, display vehicles changes every 4 months so the owners really do make an effort to provide something for everyone and give you reason to come back,
thanks for the day out, my kids loved it and we will see you again in easter
Everyone MUST see this! Like cars or loath then, these displays change and draw in historical significance of different importance every 4 months; that's a huge display that changes 3 times a year! The volunteers are lovely and the tea and coffee are FREE!
