Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre reviews
37Drove 2 hours to find that big water slides don't run during the week or the small water park after 11.30 needs to be better information regarding this on the times open section
I wasn’t a fan of this gym. There wasn’t much equipment, especially cardio so you’d have to wait for a free machine.
The pool/spa area was nice, the group classes were fun and the reception staff were nice but it was impossible to be able to have PT sessions. It took a while to be contacted back and positions were very limited for after work hours.
Friendly helpdesk/ reception.
Clean, tidy fasilities.
Café on-site but closes bit too early.
Love the pools here majority of the staff are really nice except for 1 who was rude once and that I left some items at the pools of my kids by accident and when trying to get them they claimed they didn't have them so they clearly threw my babies baby carrier and pool toys, because I was the last person at the pools before clean up time.so pretty p! Ssed about that.
Great fasciitis,
only thing I would say which needs to be considered is parking with shelter from the heat or rain especially for those with young kids.
Family friendly place, lots of fun for the kids too, the change rooms are warm and suitable areas for family change rooms which helps with little ones.
Very clean and nice swimming pools, with good water playgrounds, slides and an outdoor swimming pool. Probably the best in Victoria.
Perfection. Variety of pools, sauna, spa. Something for everyone.
If you want to use the large slides make sure you are there early as they close by 3.
Awesome facilities, wheelchair accessible & very clean.
I'll definitely be back
I absolutely love the Body Balance classes and also working out in the gym! A fabulous institution! We're very lucky to have it!
A very well organised and set out place and fun for all ages, we had ages from 2 years old and up and every one had so much fun. Very clean place also, highly recommend
This place is absolutely great. Before the renovations, there was only a pool and a small kids play area, however now they have a water play area for children, a shallow pool for children and swimming lessons, two large water slides, 50m indoor pool, 25m outdoor pool, and an indoor heated/hydrotherapy pool. There is also a gym which I have not personally used but have seen many people using it. There is also a cafe with many healthy snacks and food offerings. The toilets and change rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly.
Very well set up great for kids of all ages and perfect temperature water without to much eye stinging chemicals all in all great place to unwind with the fam highly i recommend
Horrible customer service, didn’t appreciate the discrimination shown as of when I wanted to use the spa, due to me being under age? I’m 15, I have a job, I have a phone, I have a bank account yet I can’t even use the spa. Wasn’t so pleased with the fact that the staff ridiculed my father either.
Best in Victoria. Spa is a let down but Steam Room and Sauna @ Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre is hands down the best in Victoria & The rubber floor in all pools is just excellent, Nicely built facility good lifeguards who are on the ball
The rubber floor in all pools is excellent, as well as the size of the whole centre. Tested swimming pools and both slides. Great facility for family fun.
Canteen food is affordable and delicious.
Swedish and fin saunas are modern and spacious.
Wish we had such a great aquatic centre in West Gippsland
My first visit. Went for exercise purposes as I had a minor injury at the time so couldn't do my preferred activities.
It was great as they have multiple pools, most indoors so good for all weathers.
They have one that's specifically for rehabilitation purposes so great for those who don't want to be bothered by constant lap swimmers or children splashing around.
They have water slides too but a weight restriction of 120 kgs so I can't use them.
Great facilities. Three distinct indoor pool areas plus an outdoor pool. Gentle exercise area for seniors and rehab (lifeguard enforced which is great) so children must behave in this area.
Great place and suitable for all abilities with waterslides that operate until about 11am, lap pools, heated pool. Friendly staff. Need to be vacinated
Unbeatable in Gippsland. Great modern establishment with four pools, a children's water park and awesome waterslides!
Very clean and tidy, staff are very helpful and have good knowledge on every activity in the centre.
