Food is good with a broad selection that is a step up from standard cafe fare. The place can get busy and the back of house can struggle. Be patient because the food is good.

Large cafe with a charming vibe, welcoming and friendly staff. Our coffee was superb, which is a compliment not given lightly. Food is beautifully presented and the club sandwich highly recommended! Love the little foxes around the place, and great to see mats for dogs to put their paws up while their humans dine outside! Look forward to my next cup of magic

Great food and coffee. Staff is very friendly. Easy to make changes to the dishes or add some extras (+$). Also nice to sit outside when the sun is out. Would definitely go there again.

Only time in my life I’ve ever left an entire meal on the plate uneaten.
Had to ask for a steak knife to cut through my multigrain toast and still I couldn’t get through it. It was literally like a rock. You’d think asking for a steak knife to get through the toast would be a hint but the waiter didn’t offer any apology or offer a replacement.
Steak in the steak sandwhich is the cheapest cut of meat and even the smoothies are void of all flavour.
Def the worst meal I’ve had since moving to the area. Beaumaris had the most brilliant cafes and this just isn’t it. Went to the patisserie across the road and had a yummy pie instead.

Me and my sister came in for breakfast this morning.
My sister got a ham cheese tomato croissant and found the bottom to be a tad soft. Without having to get attention from the waitstaff they came over to ask if everything was okay. When my sister explained the issue we were offered a replacement straight away with no fuss.
The service here was the highlight of the meal as we also spilt some coffee, and it was promptly cleaned again without having to get the attention of the wait staff.

We highly appreciate this level of customer service and think the business should be applauded.

Nice little lively café which is full every time we've been there. Very noisy inside - needs some acoustic ceiling treatment, and some heaters would make the outdoor dining more tolerable on cold, wet, windy days. The food and coffee were great, especially the zucchini fritters. Chai latte was a miss (instant premix is not the same thing as Prana Chai).

Well l did like this place.
Today l ordered coffee and muffins.
I actually asked for a hot coffee.
It was mildly warm. So I ask to replace to a hot.
Well it can back and l kid you not it was still boiling. 10 minutes later l still can't pick up the glass.
The muffin was ordinary. But maybe that is just the level that is acceptable here.
White chocolate and raspberry. Non descriptive flavours of any.
I did taste the coffee and it would completely ruin my day if l drank it. So the picture is of how l left it.
I did complain.
I figer they will get the message without any unnecessary confrontation.
I see all the happy customers around me so don't listen to me.

Like this place coffee consistent and they have the newspaper. Only had coffee in the end but l know the food is good from previous visits. Hi here

Dogs are the priority here! Service is non-existent, unless you are a dog and then you get a bed and water and a pat. Hopefully the staff are washing up after petting the dogs. You can wait 10 minutes or more to even be acknowledged. Very disorganised.

Visited with a large group today, these guys could not have been more accommodating and lovely.
The food was unreal. Could not have been happier. 5 stars.

Came in for breakfast today, service was excellent and the girls serving me were very attentive. Coffee was amazing and food was delicious. Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Fantastic amazing cafe! My bacon was cooked to perfection (crispy), eggs were perfect, toast was perfect, coffee was perfect. Staff were friendly & attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast. I visited today and I’ll definitely be back.

The Ginger Fox is run by a terrific couple who deliver terrific food, delicious, modern, simple. I’m a bit partial to thick shakes even and the Ginger Fox serves up one of the finest in the land. Made almost entirely with ice-cream, I add the malt and it’s served in the good old fashioned TIN - the only way. Incredible. Top spot, delish food, great people and I’ll remember to get photos next visit.

Update 2022
Still smashing it out and still the best Thick Shakes money can buy. It’s because they don’t scrimp! Quality and customer satisfaction is important to them, so they actually try to deliver great tasting food. And they actually succeed.

Very nice place to sit in the afternoon sun and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a very nice toasted sandwich. The service was very good and the coffee delivered in next to no time despite quite a few customers on the premises. The toasted sandwich arrived in good time and wad accompanied by some very nice fries. Highly recommended.
