Geri Route reviews
36Best food in south east have tried alot of food trucks but taste of geri route is best cant compare with any other place
Accidentally found this great place and enjoyed afghani chicken and mutton curry with ghee! Going to try all the items on their menu now!
Food is fantastic, the tastiest chicken and mutton around! Chai here is also a must! Staff are very friendly, I recommend going with the chef specialities if you don’t know what to order!
Being foodie, I have been to many food stalls. However, the delicious food I ate @Geri Route, (located at Clayton) made me to post this review. I ordered Malai champ and Panner Tikka, both dishes tasted the same as I used to eat in India.
The staff is very friendly and polite, I told them that I am strictly vegetarian, they cleaned and rubbed all their dishes and cooking pans, I really appreciate that.
I must recommend every one to try the food at Geri Route food point. You can’t stop yourself to eat more and more.
Food reminded me of Chandigarh! The owners are friendly and always open to suggestions, a great overall experience 10/10
A nice food truck with all the north Indian veg and chicken delights. Can improve the cooking of the chicken but the flavours are good. Can either increase the quantity or reduce the price a little
Authentic Chandigarh taste. These folks deserve more than 5 stars. Best north indian street food in the whole melbourne I would say. 200% recommended.
Top notch customer service by the team. The food is made fresh and on time. Try channe kulche and also their malai soy, If you are up for it then their sandwiches they make is a meal and a half by itself! Great Value for money. Plus the bonus is their serving size is really good. Owner is a good chap another Geri soonish
A sublime little food truck nestled in the heart of Clayton that surprisingly lives up to its phenomenal reviews. It is well worth a trip from the west of Melbourne and even beyond to partake of this culinary delight. Vegetarians are celebrated rather than rebuffed by this food truck, whether you order the various varieties of soya chaap cooked to perfection, or the scrumptious paneer kathi rolls and grilled sandwiches. I came for the food, but I will return for the service. As truly the only thing better than this truck's food is the impeccable, personalised service with attention to detail that makes you feel like you are being treated like royalty every time. Thanks for giving Melbournians an authentic taste, throwback and homage to my favourite food capital of the world, Chandigarh!
Owners are as amazing as the food they serve. They prepare the food the way customer likes. As a foodie person this place is my first best experience.
We had chole kulcha. The Kulcha was like a pizza bread from supermarket. Very low quality frozen kulcha. There was more onion and masala than actual chole. I had an upset stomach after this. I'll not recommend this place. It is better to spend this money in a restaurant.
Had my first and last visit
Owners are good they want an open feedback but the food is not up to the quality. They serve canned champ and cook on tawa, but still undercooked, quantity was very less as well and no one put capsicum that too raw in champ. Had 3 dishes for 3 not enough for any of us, just a message for owners please recruit some good chefs. 2 stars just for your humble gesture
Best customer service I have ever experienced. Very humble gentlemen serving amazing food, happy to customize without a grin, fresh hot tasty food!
Sitting area is a huge plus. Even my 4 months old enjoyed the sitting area.
Love love love the place!
Great food! Extensive menu and served fresh, i have tried multiple different street food trucks however this one has the most delicious taste. This truck also offers sitting area which makes it even better if you want to enjoy the food straight away. The owners are very friendly who play great music and offer water which shows they care for their customers, healthy food which is must try
Worth a Geri (Drive) from all the way from west to s.east for this amazing food place. Soya champ, tawa chicken and their fries are my favorites. Reminds me of my uni days in hometown Chandigarh. Great service, nice music and interesting conversation with them.
Great food and wonderful service! We went by the recommendations of the chef and everything we had was nothing short of amazing. They even customised the food as per our requirements. Will be coming back again for sure! Highly recommended
