Easily the best fish and chip place in the area.

Very annoyed with the food tonight. The potato cakes was stiff and cold i ordered 6 dollars chips and only got $2 dollars worth, i didn't get the 4 steamed dim Sims i also ordered, only thing that was decent was the fish. I've never had a problem with the food its my go to fish and chips but the last 2 times its been a rip off and disappointing spent $87 dollars i feel robbed and disgusted.

Stopped in for dinner on the way to Walhalla. Not being local, it was a bit of a lucky dip when choosing between Moe’s many takeaway shops but when we saw how busy George’s was, we knew we’d found a winner! Despite being a busy Friday night, our food was ready quickly (about 20 mins). The chips were plentiful and well-cooked, the flake was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and I loved the option of ‘real’ calamari! My partner really enjoyed his burger and potato cake too. Some of the best fish and chips I’ve had!

Beautiful, fresh, crispy fish and chips! All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Not greasy at all and packaged with care. The lovely ladies who served us were so warm and welcoming. 10/10!

Deadset the best fish and chips I've eaten in years! The batter was on point, the awesome lady gave me a extra bit of fish as she thought one of mine was too small. The chicko roll was cooked to perfection. But to me it's all about the batter. I'm definitely going back every time I go through. Cholesterol be dammed!

Good authentic Fish & Chips. Not the best you'll ever eat but definitely up there! Clean (for oily fish & chips), tasty and good service.

Just had some "Cardboard Cake's " and compared with the home made ones that they used to sell - NAH! 0 Flavor 0 Texture.

Good value for refuelling on a trip to/from the snow. They have some vegetarian burgers too which was a pleasant suprise.

Tidy joint, great souvlakis, great fried fish and great crab sticks. Staff are friendly and prices are good.

Once upon a time they were great but after buying food After tonight not going back Chips where dry and souvlaki the Lamb was like eating rubber ball

I went there twice today - the first time and the last time. I had two pieces of flake. The actual fish fillet was very very thinly sliced, previously frozen and when I took a bite, a dirty brown coloured fillet was revealed. I'm sure it wasn't the oil as the fish itself was encased in batter 4 times as thick as the fish - there's no way the oil would have penetrated that much batter - I think. No cardboard box, just wrapped in paper - end result, limp fish and soggy batter. YUK.
I'd never been to this place before and never will again. Give it a wide berth and, heaven forbid, go to Hungry's just around the corner and some.

Got the steak sandwich and hamburgers. Altered to fit everyone's taste. Quick and polite service.

Absolutely appalled. Have had great food from this place for over 10 years however after moving away thought id get some fish and chips while travelling through. I called and asked for a "family pack" and the order taker questioned family feast. I replied whatever its called for a normal family pack you know with 4 fish potato cakes etc. My partner went in to pick up the order while I waited with my son in the car and was charged over $80 with enough food to feed a third world country. I now no longer know how im going to afford groceries or pay off my laybuys for Christmas. I can not believe that such as high value order wasnt checked first a simple so you mean the $75 pack would have avoided the issue all together. I will never come back and I be letting everyone I know about my experience and how they take advantage of their customers.
